In your mock they're probably going higher than they actually should, but since they fit the Wolves needs perfectly and the other options in those slots are ugly for the Wolves. I love Ty Lawson at #28 for the Wolves, but if Tyreke Evans is projected to be a PG, that leaves the Wolves with 4 PGs on the roster and a combo guard in Randy Foye makes a 5th guy who can play there.

Telfair's a decent back-up expiring, so he could be moved, and Bobby Brown's on a minimum contract, so moving or cutting him shouldn't be a big deal.

But being the selfish jerk I am, I'll comment on only the Wolves and say I love it.

I think the Clippers have a worse record than the Thunder, don't they? I just know the Wolves aren't far from passing the Grizz and Thunder for the 4th worst record.

As of right now it goes Kings, Wizards, Clippers, Grizzlies, Thunder, Wolves...

So assuming that the Clippers still want Jordan Hill, who do the Grizzlies take Thabeet or Monroe? I'm sure the Thunder would prefer to be left with Thabeet.

To answer some of your questions. I think Lawson would be a good fit even with so many point guards. Both Evans and Foye are combo guards and Lawson/Telfair/Brown points. Drafting Lawson will give you the room in 2010 to open up signing other positions and not have to worry about the point.

As for the order, if it goes how you say it is, I think each team still goes for who I had. I really don't think Memphis passes on Monroe for Thabeet since they have Gasol. Maybe they draft him just to try to get Monroe and OKC's other first but I think each ends up with who I had.

I really dislike the idea of giving the knicks yet another undersized combo guard who gets shot happy. We're perfectly happy with nate doing that for us, not seeing Monroe not fall one more spot is upsetting but I'd think we're looking for a D'Antoni Center, true PG or 2/3. If Aldrich comes out I think he makes a lot of sense but then again I think Terrance Williams would make a lot of sense as well.

Don't look now but with the Kings winning las night there's a four team race for the #1 pick, with Sacramento being one win behind Washington, Memphis, and the Clippers. Mind you some of them have more losses due to more games played. But at this stage you could come up with any combination of those four teams and you might end up correct.

And as the Ricky Rubio rumors continue the mocks will get alot more interesting from here on in until the draft lottery and deadline for declaring.

I'd be fine with Evans if Clark and Jennings were both off the board, but I'm not as psyched about him as I am about the other two.
