I was thinking about that but i think tyreke evans needs the ball to be effective. I think for a team to really utilize him to the fullest he needs to play the pg position. Memphis played better when he played the pg spot.Hes got really bad shooting mechanics also. I wouldnt be against drafting him though cause hes a very good prospect. My gut tells me though that we go with his earl clark though. He seems like a BC type of guy.BC likes players who cause matchup problems and thats exactly what earl clark is. A 6'10 SF with great ball handling skills, can rebound and is athletic. Shawn marion wont be with the raptors neither and were going to sign carlos delfino.I think we go with clark

It's perfect through the first 2 picks. After that it falls apart.

How did you get that draft order? Right now, it's Kings #1, Wizards #2, Clippers #3.

Also, Warriors take Tyreke Evans over DeRozan.

oh sorry...i used the draft order off of somebody elses mock, thats my fault. I had no idea where to put Derozan. Derozan and tyreke seem like players that could anywhere from 7 to the end of the lottery.

There's a TON of guys that have the range you just mentioned. Henderson, Lawson, and Mullens in addition to 'Reke and Derozan come to mind.

With Crawford, Maggette, Ellis, and Stephen Jackson why would Nellie select Tyreke when you have so many wings who are hungry for the ball. Evans will definitely complain there. I think you guys could use a PG like Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, or possibly Rubio if you guys get into the top three.

Evans would play PG while Ellis played SG and could guard the SG because Ellis is so small.

Also, I don't see Crawford in their long term plans. Not to mention they play small a lot so having Evans/Ellis/Jackson/Randolph/Biedrins on the court wouldn't be terrible.

You nailed it Villanova!

The hope would be that a big PG like Evans could be an ideal compliment to the undersized Ellis in the backcourt.

yea i get that, the only thing i think that worries me from a warrior prospective is the lack of shooting range with evans and ellis. I dont follow the warriors much so maybe that doesnt matter.

In all honesty, I just want the Raptors to get Evans instead of the Warriors. Just draft BJ Mullens or Earl Clark for goodness sakes.

Anthony Morrow and Kelenna Azubuike both finished top 5 in the league in 3pt%, and Belinelli is solid as well. I don't think outside shooting will be a problem for us anytime soon.

Neither of those guys helps the Warriors at all - Mullens would be the 3rd string C and Clark just adds to our list of long, athletic, undersized PFs.

How about this: Warriors move up to #2 and take Rubio, then you can have Evans :D
