as a blazer fan, ny input is the Portland won't pass on Beaubois 3 straight times. They have scouted him extensively, and had him in for 2 different workouts. He has great length and wingspan as well as the ingredients to be an excellent defender. If he's still availabe at 38, Portland would take him and might even do so at 32

thanks for the feedback - I put Beaubois going to the Blazers at 38 and shifted a couple guys around to make it work.

I don't see Sacramento taking Jennings over several other available options.

Wolves have had a recent history of taking players that have proven that they can play and Curry had definitely done that as well as fill the need for a PG and perimeter shooting.

The Wolves do have a history of picking guys that can play right away, but they also have a brand new GM who seems to realize that the Wolves won't be looking to compete next year. He also seems to realize that the team desperately needs length and defense, neither of which Curry brings.

I'm not saying that Curry won't be the pick, but I am saying that I'd be both surprised and extremely disappointed that the new guy is going to continue to use the draft philosophy that has gotten the Wolves no where for the last few years

It did land us Kevin Love, which was a terrific pick...the rest are a mixed bag...this team also desperately needs a point guard and perimeter shooting, and Curry nicely fills both those needs. I know some people have concerns with him running the PG position, but I really am not worried about him as a PG. He might be more of a scoring PG, but I definitely think he'll be fine a PG. He also has the perimeter go to scoring mentality (obviously) and ability that the Wolves sorely lack. I guess we really have lots of needs and while Curry doesn't fill them all, he helps and is at least a step in the right direction.

Granted Kahn does bring a new voice and perspective to the organization, but Taylor/Hoiberg/Stack are still in the inner circle and maybe they have changed their philosophy, but I'm just saying...

Curry is also a very easy player to market, which might be a tipping point, I don't really know.

Can someone explain why the Bucks "benefit"

"Bucks - Jrue Holiday
Hill slips big time and the Bucks are the benefactors."

because I forgot to change the reasoning behind the pick when I changed who they picked.

Interesting and not bad. I could see MN take Curry. I think it is a reach, but it is plausible. At #18 though, I am not a big Williams guy and much rather see a number of the prospects after him selected. I do like the 2nd round picks alot though for MN.

I'm not big on Williams, either, but I also think Daye and Mullens will both bust big time in the NBA...maybe Lawson, but with Foye and Curry already in the back court, adding the small Lawson is pretty difficult to do...Casspi is a bit of a reach at 18, imo and Budinger is almost the anti Terrence Williams outside of leaping ability, so I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I figure if our starters end up being Curry/Williams in the back court, Williams can handle the ball a bit for Foye when he subs in for Curry and let Foye play off the ball. Terrence Williams isn't entirely appealing to me either, though. I'd rather trade up and try to snag Gerald Henderson.

I liked those 2nd rounders for Min, too...Alade Aminu to add a long/athletic prospect to the front line. He can take all the time he needs developing, since we don't really need him right away, but if he pans out over time, then great. Plus Sergio Llull who we can leave in Europe and monitor his progression. I was thinking maybe Nando de Colo instead, but whichever the principle is the same. I'm a big fan of Jerel McNeal as well, but he's just so short to play SG and our team is too undersized to take on another undersized player.

Nets aren't picking Blair. They shy away from players who have a history of injuries. That's why they picked Antoine Wright over Danny Granger a few years ago..

In this situation it would have to be Terrence Williams.

Might want to review that 2nd round some. Both Macvan and Dasic pulled out. There may be more that I didn't catch.

I'd put Evans and Curry ahead of Flynn as potential #4 picks. Also, Thornton is going in the 15-25 range, book it.
