I just don't understand how you can justify some of the slotting on this board after all we have seen from these players. I mean Wes Johnson and Aminu over Turner? These guys plus Monroe over Cousins? Willie Warren that high?! Craig Freakin' Brackins?! Really?!
I don't get it...

1. Aminu is that high partly because of his ceiling as a prospect. He has an elite combination of tremendous size and quickness (hands and feet). He is a couple off-seasons locked in a gym working on his 15-18 foot jumper away from being special. Needs to go to the right team; up-tempo and with a good pg

2. I think Wes Johnson is primed to be in the running for ROY. I am not saying that Evan won't; trust me, I have gone back and forth with these two... it is just that right now, I am going with my gut

3. Cousins is as low as he is because of his intangibles, enough said. His effort and body language were terrible. Plus, what post move did he ever show or any touch on the ball? However, I am concerned with my placement of him coming back to me because I recognize that he has the feet to be special if he learns how to play in the post... and I was surprised by his feel with passing

4. It is so "in" to hate on Willie... sure he didn't have a good year. But his talent is undebatable. A good shooter (better than he showed this year) with great range, strong, explosive, and plays very well in the pick and roll (important). And he plays better with other good players; what's wrong with that?!

5. Craig Brackins is a couple summers in the weight room with a better diet and additional refinement of his handle away... great first step, explosive, great shooter, tough. The guy was the only thing at iowa state that defenses had to plan against

Cousins has the potential to be truly dominant. I don't really see the lack of effort that you saw. I think his character issues are highly overstated. If anything I think he is just guilty of being a complete dick. That can often be good in pro sports. He's not the type of guy that's going to smile for camera, sell Wheatie's on TV, nor is he the type I would want to sit down and have a beer with, but I don't see that as important when building a basketball team. Sure chemistry is very important amngst a team, but we have seen numerous players that borderline hated each other on the same championship team year after year.

Evan Turner just has the look of a special player. I mean a really special player. I can't understand what would make you want to put a player like Wesley Johnson over him. Johnson is likely to be Rudy Gay with better defense IF he reaches his potential. A nice player for sure, but Turner has the chance to be a game changing franchise guy that can do basically anything on the court.

I think Aminu has a lot of potential. I think he can be a beast down the road. I personally think he is going to go 4th overall in this draft over the likes of Favors, Monroe, etc., but I still can't see him over Turner. I just can't.

Willie Warren has a lot of talent, there is no denying that. Chances are his serious and legitimate character concerns will be somewhat overlooked and he will be drafted a lot higher then some have him right now. Thing is, I think his character concerns are so strong as to hold him back as a player in the short term and long run. He's undersized as well, there is no denying it and he has shown himself to be anything but a winner and team committed.

Craig Brackins is kind of a forgetten player. He was slotted as high as top ten last season if he declared and started off this season at about the same position in mocks. But then the fears of his limitations were realized this season, as he mainly digressed instead of improving. I doubt he falls as far as he has been in recent mocks, but there is true cause for his descent. Way to high on a big board IMO, along with Warren.

BTW, stop being so thin skinned.
