Is Hassan Whiteside worthy of a 10-15 first round pick? IT's hard to ignore his length after averaging more than five blocks per for marshall last year, but it seems like he lacks the potential to be a nba-caliber starting center. Thoughts, comments?

Is Hassan Whiteside worthy of a 10-15 first round pick? IT's hard to ignore his length after averaging more than five blocks per for marshall last year, but it seems like he lacks the potential to be a nba-caliber starting center. Thoughts, comments?

I think you will see teams desperate to acquire length after watching the Lakers trot out Odom, Gasol and Bynum. Whiteside, despite his thin frame and questionable mindset (showed up to the pre-draft combine in flip-flops) will go either to Houston or Milwaukee. Worst case, he does not slip past the Heat or the Celtics at 18-19 respectively.
