As a Detroit fan, I'd be perfectly happy with Knight at 7, if he's still there. PG might be our biggest need, with Stuckey's return not certain (and maybe even if he does, assuming BG/Rip is shipped off).

Based on who you mock, I'd have to think it would be between him and Vesely for us (his defense and hustle could really fit in on our team too).

I notice you don't have Lucas Nogueira in your top 38. Is that on purpose? I can't believe he wouldn't be late 1st, early 2nd, and would love to see the Pistons pick him at 33, especially if we choose a PG at 7.

I thought I had him in there. I guess he got past me on a switcheroo. I'll update it.

Wish it were Singleton, but I'm happy with Honeycutt.

Fairly certain Minnesotas pick from Memphis is #20 due to a coin toss loss.

not bad, but I think the Jazz have Knight quite a bit higher on their board than Kemba. I'd switch those two.

As much as I'd want Biyombo, I feel Knight would be a better selection for the Kings at 5.

I'd rather have Knight or Jan at 6.

Yeah I see the Jazz and Pistons playing off of each other. One is going to go PG and the other PF. Pistons are in the same spot they were last yr waiting for the Warriors to let Monroe drop. This yr its the Jazz so Im not as optimistic.

I will be upset if Charlotte takes Jimmer. Also, isnt that a bit late on Burks?

This.

The only way the Kings drafts Biyombo is that they have failed to retain Dalembert. I doesn't makes too much sense to draft Biyombo when you have guys like Cousins, Dalembert, Thompson, Whiteside as your bigs. There is LITTLE minutes for Biyombo!

I think the selection of Knight is almost as a perfect of a choice that the Kings can do so far.

Biyombo is a fine DET pick at 7. But I hate Tyler at 33. He bombed out of Europe, and with us picking Biyombo in addition to all the other PFs we have, he doesn't really make sense.

In this scenario, with our need at PG, I don't see how we wouldn't pick Reggie Jackson (who is absolutely a steal at that point) or even Darius Morris (about where he seems poised to go). Both are big PGs, which Dumars really likes.

At 52, Skeen is very "meh". Picking that late, you just want a guy who can make an NBA team. I don't see it in him. I think Vernon Macklin has a chance to be a Haslem type guy who overachieves

I still see the Pistons going for the best bigs. Monroe's a nice start, but Biyombo is raw and Tyler has some upside. Maybe they nab a PG like Cory Joseph at 52? It's pretty much a crap shoot of splitting hairs that late in the 2nd round.

Zero chance that Vesely goes top 5, much less 3rd.

Macklin is a candidate to move into the first round (IMHO), he'll get picked way before 60. Everything in here is plausible, though. Lots of reports have the Jazz most interested in Walker and Kanter, so I think that Knight could be out of the picture.

Minnesota trades the pick or drafts Kanter before Williams IMO. Love/Beasley/Johnson. Not to mention he wants to play SF. You can't give up on Johnson so fast, and have to trade Beasley too. Kanter could immediately start at center and even play some back up PF too. He would be the ideal pick IMO, unless they made an agreement to swap picks with another team to save salary.
