^ I still think there's a chance Joe takes Kemba. Woj has said he's out, but I don't think Ford has - and I trust him a lot more on Detroit matters.

That being said, I personally think we're picking Leonard if he's there or going with a defensive big.

Agreed on Thompkins. Defense is one of his bigger question marks, which is our biggest need. And if we go big at 8, I bet we nab a PG at 33 (Cole/Morris/Jenkins/Smith/Selby all possible).

No, Ford just recently came out and said DET was gonna pass on Kemba.

I've heard the same notSonics rumors. Don't believe them. I can't imagine why they would want to get rid of Maynor. Plus, I've literally never heard a rumor about a Presti trade before it happens so this must be fabricated. Hope so. There's a lot of other, better options.

I'd imagine the reason to trade Maynor would be that he is more valuable in a trade for a needed piece than playing 15 minutes a night behind an all star.

It might be true, it might not. But, it is everywhere. This draft is the hardest to get an accurate read on of any since I have been doing this. The only pick in my mock that I am sure on is the first one, from there it is only guessing.

Bismack, Hamilton and Benson

wouldn't be a horrible draft night for the Bobcats because as you rightfully point out it addresses two of our biggest needs (front court help and outside shooting/a future replacement for Jackson)

but if this was the way it shook out I would prefer.......

Burks, Vucevic and Jordan Williams

I doubt Faried slips to #28. He would be a steal for Minny or Portland at #20 & 21

What are the chances of Kemba going 7th or 8th?

Singler made a major mistake returning to Duke this year.

He might not be a 1st rounder, but he's an outstanding open shooter with 3 point range and very good offensive skills. His problem is that he's a tweener in a bad way - not quick enough at the 3 and not big and strong enough at the 4.

Singler is an average outside shooter at best. If he was more of a knock down shooter he'd be a lock first round.

I'm not sure how you can be a fan of an ACC team and believe that. Without his ability to hit the open 3, he doesn't get drafted at all. His role in the NBA will be as a catch and shoot forward.

Cammo is right, Singler is an average shooter. He's going to fail. Out of the league in 6 years max.
