he's still playing really good defense, blocking shots, has a near 25 PER in ~20 minutes a game, 12.6 WS/40 despite only getting less than 6 possessions a game. he's doing SOMETHING right.

But this is only because the bigs in this draft are all either skinny or short.

He looks like a fish out of water on both offense and defense and his rebounding isnt great for a center. So I think hes a 2014 or 2015 guy.

How do you feel about Ben Mclemore vs. Archie Goodwin>?

even without comparing him to the other bigs, he has all the physical tools that are desired from a C: strength (especially lower body strength), big frame, length, agility, lateral quicks, straight line speed, strong hands and quick leaping ability. if he wants to, i don't a see a problem with him declaring this yr and being taken high as a project. he doesn't need to contribute right away to validate a high selection.

he's raw, but taking baby steps, and his defense is already good. don't look now but he's rebounding at a better rate than drummond did last yr. he's also already 2nd in the nation in ORB%.

as for goodwin/ mclemore. right now i favor mclemore. they both have prototype tools for the SG position, goodwin having better length, but mclemore is more advanced skill-wise and in terms of feel for the game on both ends of the floor. i've really been impressed with his floor game whereas goodwin's game is dynamic, but more erratic. goodwin might have the higher ceiling because of his better ball-handling ability, but i also think he's further away with more to learn because he has bad habits that look like natural tendencies. mclemore also has a high ceiling but i like his chances of getting closer to his than goodwin. it's close though. it could come down to team personnel and system, like if a team choosing b/t the 2 already has a really good point and runs a more structured system, mclemore would be the better choice imo. there's a slim to none chance, but if my bulls had the choice, i'd rather they select mclemore.

Adams needs to go to the right team to realise his potential. Spurs would be ideal but may be too far down the draft (28). Chicago is another option where he could progress well.
