Can't see Milwaukee passing on KCP for Shane Larkin, seems like he's their top realistic option at #15. Then again, color me surprised if he lasts past Minny and Portland.

As a Bucks fan I'd personally rather have KCP, Franklin, Karasev, or Ledo over Larkin.

Thanks :)

In this particular draft, I have you already picking two guys who have played multiple years in college and should be fairly ready to contribute. In spite of this, whoever they pick will likely spend some time in Tulsa as Lamb and Jones have.

(I personally think the Thunder are smart to actively utilize their NBDL league for player development. Other teams are starting to get the idea as well; the Sixers bought their own NBDL team this offseason which is based in Newark, Delaware called the Eighty-Seventers I'm not joking. The Delaware '87ers.) http://www.nba.com/dleague/delaware/)

So I think if they haven't picked an FCL (foreigner coming later) already then they'll take one here. I say that at the complete risk of being cliche. Feels like a copout to say "oh yeah, they'll pick a foreigner". But in this case, I think they would.

I think if Mouhammed Jaiteh is still available, that would be too easy. Great roll of the dice in a low risk potentially high reward proposition.

You know - I've been steering clear of trigger-happy wings on the basis that I feel Ellis will be back as a Buck on a three year deal. I think PG would be a greater need only because it seems like Jennings has burned all bridges. There are other options out there though for PG so maybe you are right. I guess we'll see. I think KCP is going to be a very similar player to Nick Young. I don't know if that is really a good or bad thing, but I didn't think that's what the Bucks were looking for.

Thanks for your thoughts though man. The latter three wings you listed I think are going to be pretty good. Ledo will be included in my next mock for sure.

Yeah you bet, enjoy following your mocks. As far as my thoughts on the draft ideas go, I'm kind of mixing my personal opinion of draft prospects with what I've seen pertaining to our free agents to be on the Bucks forum. We have a couple guys that have inside scoops and Ellis sounds as good as gone, he's willing to take less money to play somewhere else. Redick gone too. Jennings evidently has made it known to the front office he wants to be gone and was a cancer in the locker room last season. Odds on Jennings returning are 50-50, if the team can get anything of decent value for him he'll probably be moved, but the front office might panic based on what happens in the draft and try and keep him.

What's your thought process in the choosing MCW over Burke for the Kings?

MCW is a good player but his lack of quality on the offensive end is a turn off.

imo Burke is the guy if he's available to Sacramento.

McCollum is another guy in the mix for the Kings too.

Hey, thanks for the compliment :)

That's interesting, re: Bucks insider info on Ellis and Jennings. I haven't heard that Ellis would forgo money to leave the team. Of course insider info is tough to qualify, but I appreciate hearing what the Bucks board has to offer - especially as a team with a starting backcourt potentially in flux.

As far as Jennings, do you really feel it would be a 50/50 chance if he has let it known he wants out and was a team cancer? Given he's an RFA, I consider him a good S&T possibility with one of the handful of teams in the point guard market this off-season.

If your information is correct, then I agree KCP could be a better fit than Larkin. However, I think that mental apporach will limit KCP to being, at best, a sixth man chucker type player. I think that Crabbe will be a better pro, although it doesn't appear that most scouts would agree with me at the moment.

I have MCW over both Burke and McCollum for the Kings, but I must confess that this is more based on who I think would be a better fit than who I think they will pick. I don't have a ton of background info on D'Allesandro, but I do have the understanding that he is more appreciative of team chemistry than the Kings have been in recent years. My hesitation with guys like McCollum and Burke for this Kings is that they're primarily scoring guards. With the current makeup of the roster and the existing skill sets on the team, it makes more sense to me to take a player who is a distributor before a scorer. MCW's length will also allow him to play alongside a shoot-first player with point guard size such as Isaiah or Jimmer.
