I appreciate the way in which you do the rankings in your mocks, and I think that needs to be stressed, but I still think there's a degree of a false premise when you rank certain guys so far away from their consensus range.

If it's a ranked list of your predictions of how each player will go in the NBA, then it's totally acceptable, but the people that respond skeptically to your rankings are doing so because everyone knows the actually draft will never pan out like this. For instance, Skal, and Maker for that matter. I wouldn't say it's overly controversial to predict that they'll bust, but at the end of the day they both have very high ceilings (more so Skal imo) and the chance of them reaching it, even if it's less than 50%, is what boosts their stock in to the lottery range. Ditto for Hield at 26, Murray at 17, and the rest of 'controversial' picks. If someone said to me 'I think Murray and Hield will both turn out as role player SG's that can't play D or create' I'd say that's a very possible scenario, but it's not a definite. At minimum, there's clear potential for them to become starting level players, if not more, and that's what makes them lottery talents.

I guess what I'm saying is it seems more like a big board to me.

Anyway, once I somewhat understood that you don't do a conventional mock, and then analyzing the mock for what it is, I definitely like a lot of things about it, in particular we share similar views on Luwawu, Zubac, Carter Jnr., Bembry, Onuaku and McCaw being underrated.
