This is a very deep draft IMO. A handful of second round guys have a chance to make an impact. Ulis, Barber, and Felder all have a chance to carve out niches as sixth man type scorers off the bench. Beasley and LeVert are quality wings if they can stay healthy. I also think AJ Hammons has a chance to be a solid rotation big. Those guys jump immediately to mind.

LeVert, definitely him if he can stay healthy. He was a possible lottery pick coming into the season.

Really hard for me to see the Kings taking Chriss. He's too raw to contribute anytime soon AND he'd be starting the year as 3rd best front court player at the best (he's raw enough that he's probably worse than Koufos too--making him 4th best). I'm all for swinging for the fences, but at least do so with a guy who could conceivably get SOME playing time this season.

It's not the best scenerio for Sacramento, but it's an obvious BPA who could go as early as #3 falling to them at #8. Given how I have the draft shaking out, I'm not sure who they would reach for over Chriss.

And I believe he's from that area, great marketing play as well.

I agree it's best value BPA, but given who's in front of him I'd make the argument that the lack of playing time could hinder his development pretty severely.

As for who they'd take, Baldwin seems like a guy they could legitimately reach for--and makes a lot of sense given their shooting issues and questions regarding PG this summer (Rondo a FA and Collison in trouble legally). He's currently the only prospect in their range that they've worked out.

Seems like a bad idea to give marketing to a guy who wouldn't be seeing much (if any) time on the floor. They're also moving into a new arena this coming season so marketing is pretty irrelevant at this point.

Love our 16 & 23 picks, I have no idea who Paul Zipser is.... and I assume with Buddy being drafted that we may actually move on Smart or Bradley for another pick.... or off the bench lineup of Rozier/Hield/Smart which I don't mind at all..

I assume that means Toronto? I'm so torn on Poeltl or Sabonis to them at #9.

I think it comes down to them, unless someone drops, but I think Sabonis is the better fit, and their have been some local media rumblings that Sabonis might be our guy.

As a Magic fan, I hope it's Sabonis. I'd love for Poeltl to fall to us at #11.

I can see that happening. I've seen rumors that Bucks like Ellenson. Poeltl is nice. Would probably look really good with the magic.

Sadly, we'd need to fade Milwaukee taking him as well. And they could use a center.
