Porter won’t drop below 4, too much potential. Sacramento drafted a PG last year (who’s playing well) so I don’t think they take Young even with the hype. Ayton should go two but if Boston is on the board then I think they take Bagley out of pure need. I believe right now it would be
1. ATL- Doncic,
2. BOS- Bagley,
3. MEM- Porter,
4. ORL- Ayton,
5. SAC- Jackson Jr,
6. DAL- Bamba,
7. CHI- Young,
8. CHA- Mikal
9. CLE- Sexton
10. PHX- Knox

I think Young would be unlucky to fall that far. Orlando absolutely have to go with him at 5 if he is there, they worked themselves into a corner where they need a P.G. in the draft or they need to trade for a P.G. at the draft (because they aren't landing one in the F.A).

Part of my reasoning is that he has none of the factors that help a prospect from this time onwards:

- Poor form recency effect
- Team unlikely to win in March Madness
- Doesn't have athletic factors to improve stock at combine or workouts

Sorry but Jackson isn't a top 5 player in this draft which i agree you actually listed and i don't really see him as a game changer at the next level like the top 2 or 3 guys in this draft.

If either Ayton or Bagley fall to the Falcons they almost have to be the pick for us. If those 2 are gone then the only other guy i would take is Luca Doncic but that would be after those 1st 2. Then the very last guy i would take would be Michael Porter JR and thats if we get the 4th pick and those 3 guys are gone.

Jackson would only be my pick if we somehow ended up losing the lottery badly and fell out of the top 5 picks. Even then i might take Young over him still at PG

My mock predictions are influenced by other mocks as they have insider info whereas my own BB is my own opinions so I agree with alot of what you said.

I have read though that Travis Schlenk has questioned the value of non-shooters in the modern game which made me consider putting Jackson ahead of Bagley.

If we are talking about non shooters then look no further than last years pick in John Collins he isn't known as a great shooter at all as we gladly took him over better shooters last year. Im pretty sure at 3 we would be taking the guy who can transcend a franchise and has a chance to be elite. If not then they would be doing a huge disservice to the fan base and their own chance of staying the GM and HC of the Hawks for the long run. The Hawks shouldn't be drafting in the top 3 often so they really only got 1 chance to get this right probably. If they take a guy who isn't top 5 or 5 in this draft when next tier players are available atleast as prospects right now. If anything and we are going for legit shooters that the hawks have been linked to then you need to look at Luca Doncic and Young. Luca more so though as he has been linked to the Hawks a ton even more than bagley. I like Bagley more but i could see them taking Luca as well. The guy we have legitly been linked to more than any player in this draft is Ayton though.

My perception is that the top 7 is becoming more compressed in terms of quality that I pretty much expect a random distribution, similar to this season where 4 and 7 outperformed 1 and 2.

Still have us with Jackson i see after the updates :( We can only hope at this point it doesn't happen in the real draft. Come on hawks don't fail me again like every other time in the lotto with a pick like this i wouldn't take that man in the top 6 picks.
