I dont like Biyombo but I like that you have gone PF and then 2 PGs for Detroit. I would want Joe D to be thinking along those lines also- bigman at 8, PGs in round 2.

I actually think Jenkins will be a SG, or at least a combo guard at the NBA level. Biyombo fits so nicely with Monroe IMO and Cole and Jenkins would bring some much needed scoring.

Ugh, Travis Leslie over Marshon Brooks, Justin Harper and Scotty Hopson?

^ Leslie is better than Brooks and Hopson, IMO (and not by a small margin).

Although Harper would be a nice pick..

Leslie is a 6-4 PF who thinks he's better than Tony Allen. He's a better prospect then Hopson, but Brooks and Harper are clearly better.

I prefer Brooks and Harper to Leslie personally, but I don't think they will be picked before him. Leslie's athleticism and ability to attack the bucket will cause him to be overdrafted IMO.

Hopson is meh for me. Someone will take him in the early 2nd because he can defend, but he has yet to put his game together. Greaty prospect coming out of high school, but his stock seems to drop every season.

I agree with Shang mainly, although I think Hopson is definitely the better prospect.

Leslie has the ceiling of Shanon Brown or Tony Allen and the floor of Hassan Adams.

Yuck!

Leslie's defence is what puts him above Hopson for me. With his physical tools he could easily be another Tony Allen-type, but after that interview I wonder if he'll ever put it together.

It is not hard to see why scouts like Leslie. He is probably the best athlete in this draft, is a tenacious defender, and attacks the basket well. If he puts it all together, he could be a poor man's Dwyane Wade.

idk, i can't see Utah drafting 2 bigmen when they already have a logjam. I know there have been reports that they are really high on Donatas, but if they draft Enes at 3 I think they are much better off taking a swing at 12.

I agree. I don't think it will be Utah picking at #3 though. But, I do not mock trades. Utah will take one big at max. I expect someone to move into the #3 spot for Kanter and Utah to move down and look at Vesely, Walker, Knight, or Leonard and then pick up Donatas with the #12.

True, but it's a huge if.

Vucevic's stock is clearly rising. He is a legit 7footer with a NBA body at 260lb with 6.1% body fat( u can tell he has put in a lot of effort for that), and with a 7,4.5" wingspan. He is very skilled offensively and is at least a solid defender; he also outperform Kanter in the draft combine.

Vucevic is seen as the most underrated talent in da draft, along with Reggie Jackson(both play for weak teams). But Vucevic's stock is clearly rising, n some scouts are predicting him at th 20th range. I won't be surprised if he ends up being a lottery pick.

I perfect complement to Greg Monroe imo. He has already been scheduled a workout with the Pistons.

Cammo, trust me on this - switch Jordan Williams with Justin Harper. Harper's not far from being an in-shape clone of Derrick Williams. He's definitely behind him, but I think the difference is a lot smaller than people realize. And he's actually taller than Jordan (and Derrick) in the bare feet measurements.

At just 6'9 (I told ya he's no taller than Singleton - you should have known better being a FlaSter. ), Jordan's going to have to learn to play facing the basket - and he's never done that before. And considering his foul foul shooting, there shouldn't be much hope for him being able to nail mid range jumpers.

Got to tell me why Jereme Richmond is getting drafted. Guy is talented but horrible character question marks and he was MIA before last week.

Also think Selby and Tyler are a little too low.

Almost a year later, this was not all that far off on most guys. Though I certainly owe Derrick Williams an apology.

It is always weird to go this far back and see what your mocks looked like.
