jaze89's Mock Draft

Please take note that I'm new to draft evaluation and NCAA basketball overall (I'm a bandwagon Illinois fan) so most of my information is based off of team needs and website scouting reports. After 1998 I stopped watching basketball (guess why) but at the end of 2006-2007 season I started watching again so my basketball knowledge isn't as seasoned as some of you other posters.
After the first selection they are NOT in order of importance/next-in-line. Some players are listed twice even though I have them already picked in a previous selection (i.e., Wizards - Al-Farouq Aminu - Wesley Johnson, Clippers - Wesley Johnson - Al-Farouq Aminu), this means that those picks are toss-ups.
- Nets - John Wall
- Timberwolves - Evan Turner
- Kings - DeMarcus Cousins
- Warriors - Derrick Favors
- Wizards - Al-Farouq Aminu - Wesley Johnson - Cole Aldrich - Ed Davis
- 76ers - Greg Monroe - Ed Davis
- Pistons - Cole Aldrich - Greg Monroe - Ed Davis
- Clippers - Wesley Johnson - Al-Farouq Aminu - Xavier Henry
- Jazz - Ed Davis - Cole Aldrich - Patrick Patterson - Xavier Henry - Donatas Motiejunas - Epke Udoh
- Pacers - Ekpe Udoh - Hassan Whiteside
- Hornets - Donatas Motiejunas - Xavier Henry
- Grizzlies - Patrick Patterson - Eric Bledsoe
- Raptors - Xavier Henry - Hassan Whiteside
- Rockets - Hassan Whiteside - Larry Sanders - Daniel Orton
- Bucks - James Anderson - Daniel Orton - Willie Warren - Solomon Alabi
- Timberwolves - Daniel Orton - Solomon Alabi
- Bulls - Paul George - Willie Warren
- Heat - Larry Sanders - Solomon Alabi
- Celtics - Solomon Alabi - Daniel Orton
- Spurs - Luke Babitt - Gordon Hayward*
- Thunder - Gani Lawal - Daniel Orton
- Trailblazers - Kevin Seraphin - Stanley Robinson - Gordon Hayward*
- Timberwolves - Willie Warren - Stanley Robinson
- Hawks - Eric Bledsoe - Avery Bradley*
- Grizzlies - Avery Bradley* - Devin Ebanks
- Thunder - Stanley Robinson - Armon Johnson - Damion James - Quincy Pondexter
- Nets - Quincy Pondexter - Stanley Robinson - Damion James
- Grizzlies - Elliot Williams - Jordan Crawford* - Dominique Jones
- Magic - Jordan Crawford* - Elliot Williams* - Dominique Jones
- Wizards - Devin Ebanks! - Terrico White*! - Avery Bradley*! - Armon Johnson! - Greivis Vasquez! - Dominique Jones! - Artsiom Parakhouski!
Daniel Orton is mentioned on a lot of picks because his selection is all dependent on how much of a risk that GM is willing to take on a unproven freshman who's only real talent is being a nice physical specimen with some flashes of potential. My opinion is that he'll start off just like BJ Mullens has.
* = Has not signed agent (I also base not putting Gordon Hayward as a #1 choice as I don't believe he'll stay in the draft)
! = Too many possibilities/positions to fill to make a full descision
(Early rough draft, hurried it along so I could get some sleep)
