I<3Basketball's Final Mock

Post#1 » by i<3basketball » Wed May 19, 2010 12:51 am

My mock:
1. Washington Wizards - John Wall - Duh.
2. Philadelphia 76ers - Evan Turner - BPA. Iguodala might be moved with Turner in place.
3. NJ Nets - Derrick Favors - A blessing in disguise for the Nets? Favors next to Lopez is a great young frontcourt.
4. Minnesota Timberwolves - Wesley Johnson - Cousins might be BPA but I think they will go Johnson here.
5. Sacramento Kings - DeMarcus Cousins - An instant starter for the Kings in the frontcourt. Will form a nice rotation with Landry, Thompson and Hawes.
6. Golden State Warriors - Al-Farouq Aminu - BPA and can play the 3 or 4 for the Warriors. Perfect for their style.
7. Detroit Pistons - Cole Aldrich - Just the player the Pistons need and he falls into their laps.
8. LA Clippers - Ed Davis - Hard to pick here but I think they go with the potential from Davis who is probably the BPA here.
9. Utah Jazz - Greg Monroe - I love Monroe and he might move up to 6 or 7 but he likely goes here and fills in Boozer's minutes.
10. Indiana Pacers - Ekpe Udoh - An athletic rebounder the Pacers need.
11. New Orleans Hornets - Luke Babbitt - Babbitt will look great next to Paul with his sweet stroke.
12. Memphis Grizzles - James Anderson - Not sure about this pick but scoring depth is a need for the Grizzles.
13. Toronto Raptors - Daniel Orton - They need a big and I think Orton has the buzz at this spot.
14. Houston Rockets - Xavier Henry - Not sure how well he fits but he might be the BPA here.

No, Iguodala won't be moved. He's more suited to be a small forward and #2 option and not a scorer, that's why Turner is such the perfect pick for Philly, He will be their goto scorer and 20+ pt scorer and matched perfectly with Holiday. Holiday-Turner-Iguodala-Brand-Dalembert will be one of the most feared defensive teams in my opinion if taught correctly.

He's most likely gonna be traded from what it seems, but i'd personally like to keep him as a 6th man option backing up Iggy and maybe spotting a couple minutes at PF.

Give it time, I have a feeling he might go 12 to Memphis but I needed somewhere for Ed Davis. Babbitt will be back in my lottery before too long.
