With the Wizards getting the top spot, it is time to start with the mock. Turner is a no-brainer at #2, but after that it could get a little bit crazy.

12 Memphis Xavier Henry
13 Toronto Ekpe Udoh

Ugh, I hate the idea of GS drafting Aminu but it's probably going to end up happening.
Why does fate always sh*t on the Warriors

The Warriors already have some good bigs in Randolph, Wright and Biedrins. They may be better off trading down in the draft and getting back some veterans to help this young team get out of the cellar again. B-Davis anyone?

It won't change until you move the franchise where Stern wants it to be. The Timberwolves know what you are talking about.

I wonder if the T-wolves would trade #16 and #23 for Utah's #9. Hayward and Babbitt would seem to be good fits in Utah whereas Minny could pick up a top-shelf prospect?

No one's giving up a lottery pick for Baron Davis, especially not the Warriors. We went through that circus before and now we have Curry as our PG. ZERO interest in Baron.

I imagine Minny would make this deal in a heart beat. Don't see why Utah would though. Their biggest need is a defensive C and there should be some good ones available at #9 (Aldrich, Udoh, Whiteside).
Unless unless one of those guys drops to #16, I don't think they'd even give this deal a second glance.

The warriors may be able to trade down to the 9 spot and get something good in return for something they are lacking, which is a better veteran presence. Especially a veteran who has won at the NBA ranks.

If Udoh is able to impress in the workouts, I wouldn't be shocked if the Jazz took him because he fits a lot of needs for them, namely 1) athleticism, which they are lacking, 2) shot blocking 3) size

Good lord, every post Lottery mock on here has GSW taking Aminu. Not going to happen. I just don't see Nellie taking a project with bust potential.

^ Nellie did take AR, who was very much a boom or bust player. That's worked out well so far, right?
Aminu gives GSW toughness and rebounding, and is able to run the floor and play bigger than he is, which they need/want. Honestly, I think Aldrich is going to get a look for the same reason.
I think they'd nab Wes Johnson if he's still on the board though. He's the best fit.

With AR it was with a #14 pick though. It's a lot easier to go boom or bust at that spot.
I dunno, I just don't like Aminu. Every time I saw him play he was reckless and just playing street ball. Which would actually make him fit right in unfortunately.

That's just the thing, though. I thought with the Warriors being up for sale Stern would want to raise the value of the team by giving us a high pick.
I guess not.
