Dedicated’s Mock Draft
1: John Wall(Wizards)
2:Evan Turner(Sixers)
3:Wes Johnson(Nets)
4:Derrick Favors(T’Wolves)
5:DeMarcus Cousins(Kings)
6:Cole Aldrich(Warriors)
7:Greg Monroe(Pistons)
8.Al Faroqu-Aminu(Clippers)
9.Patrick Patterson(Jazz)
10.Avery Bradley(Pacers)
11. Xavier Henry(Hornets)
12.Paul George(Grizzlies)
13.Hassen Whiteside(Raptors)
14.Gordan Hayward(Rockets)
15.Damion James(Bucks)
16. Eric Bledsoe(Wolves)
17.Luke Babbitt(Bulls)
18.Daniel Orton(Heat)
19.Larry Sanders(Celtics)
20.Soloman Alabi(Spurs)
21.Kevin Seraphin(Thunder)
22.James Anderson(Blazers)
23.Willie Warren(Wolves)
24. Jerome Jordan(Hawks)
25.Stanley Robinson(Grizzlies)
26.Devin Ebanks(Thunder)
27.Ekpe Udoh(Nets)
28.Gani Lawal(Grizzlies)
29.Miroslav Radujica(Magic)
30.Jordan Crawford(Wizards)
I see Udoh falling as much as he does because he’s the type of guy underlooked during the draft
process. Remember, Ben Wallace, a HOF defensive center went undrafted.
I see projected 2nd rounders like Jordan and Radujica drafted because they fit the Hawks
And Magic so well. Radu with his mid-range J and Jordan with his shotblocking and interior D

Re: Dedicated's 2010 Mock
How do you justify Johnson @3 when the Nets are desperate for a PF and Favors is the BPA with Cousins?
Also Udoh seems pretty much a lock to be in the lottery to me right now. Around #20 is IMO the worst he could possibly fall. Questionable is also Hayward and James over Babbitt and I can guarantee you that the Minnesota Timberwolves don't pick Bledsoe at 16. They'll pick up the best wing available. Namely one of George, Henry, Babbitt and Hayward.
IMO Patterson actually fits well with the Jazz (although they could use a winger as well) but they would trade down a few spots if they really want him.

Bucks will not pick James at 15. Based on available players I would think it would be Babbitt or Udoh. I don't expect either player to be available at 15.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

Re: Dedicated's 2010 Mock
By all accounts, Udoh is a riser. He could go as high as 7, I know Dumars is considering him there. There's no way he makes it past 15 or 16 (his very worst case scenario). 24 is absurd.
Wes at 3? When they need a PF more than anything else? He's not even BPA there.
I really don't see Jordan going in the mid 20's. He seems like a 2nd rounder. Same with Miroslav, who blew off every NBA team interested in him. No one is going to use a 1st round pick on him when they're not even sure if he wants to come to the NBA.
I think that scenario has some fatal flaws.

Re: Dedicated's 2010 Mock
To me, if your the Nets. How does this lineup sound?
PG-Devin Harris
SG-Joe Johnson
SF-Wes Johnson(Think: Tayshaun Prince)
PF-Amare Stoudemire
C-Brook Lopez.
Of course, they have Terrance at that 3 spot. But I think it can work. Because Wes is a good shooter. Johnson and Williams can play together.
Bucks need to add another scorer, none better then James at their pick.
And I just see Udoh as the kind of guy that has a solid NBA Game, but teams may start to draft athletes and stuff and Udoh will fall a little.

Babbitt is a much better scorer than James. James is a bench tweener forward, too small to play PF and not enough perimeter skils to be a SF. He can play with lots of energy, but I don't see the Bucks being interested in him at #15. Bucks also need a starting PF, hence the possible selection of Udoh.

The thing about James is, he doesn't really have a position offensively. He's a great defender, and on effort alone he'll be a player in the NBA. And quite frankly, there are things that would shock me far more than James being the pick at 15. But that reasoning seems a bit off to me.

Damion James does a lot of things well, but he's not on the same level offensively as guys like Babbitt or Hayward (although Hayward goes #14 in your mock, so it's a moot point). He's going to be a better rebounder/defender then those two, but if the Bucks are looking for offense they should go with Babbitt.
I see your point about Udoh (that skill guys tend to get overlooked in favor of athletes, just look at Tyrus Thomas going ahead of Brandon Roy if you need proof) but by all accounts, his stock has been rising not falling.
Also, where is Ed Davis? Most mocks have him as a lottery pick, yet he's not here. Did he fall to the 2nd or something?

Is Eric Bledsoe to the Wolves a joke?

Re: Dedicated's 2010 Mock
I'm sorry guys, this is my first mock and I realize there are mistakes.
Yes, I have Ed falling, but not quite like Udoh, I simply forgot about him. I think Ed Davis will go to the Hawks at the latest, and Miami at the earliest. But I see his like Udoh's stock falling.
Wolves: Well, if they're still interested in that "Thomas/Dumars" bullcrap, they can get a guard that can actually co-exist with Flynn in Bledsoe.
That and it's in my firm belief there won't be a shooting guard available when the Wolves pick. The SG crop is quite bad this year outside of Turner/Henry. Maybe you guys take Willie Warren?

Re: Dedicated's 2010 Mock
There is no way Ed Davis last until pick 18 (Miami) at the earliest. He has always be slated to go in the lottery and I do not see that changing with less than a week to go before the draft. More likely Davis goes in the 9-14 range. Also Aldrich has been said to be falling so I would be stunned if he was taking in the top 10, let alone 6th overall. Also do not see the point in the T wolves taking Bledsoe, when they have Flynn and Sessions. Bledsoe is barely 6"1 and if he and Flynn were on the court together, they would get destroyed because they are giving so much size. Nice effort on your mock though, just some picks are a little off.
