RealGm User Mock Draft

Unclaimed Teams:
Heat (1st rounder)
Thunder (1st rounder)
Blazers (1st rounder)
Warriors (1st rounder)
Hawks (1st rounder)
Rockets (1st rounder)
Knicks (2nd rounder)
Clippers (2nd rounder)
Nets (2nd rounder)
Spurs (2nd rounder)
Kings (2nd rounder)

Way it works is fans claim a team in the draft, preferably one they are a fan of, and shortly after the draft lottery you go pick by pick. Figure we have enough time for a full day to decide for the lotto picks, but will have to do two picks a day for the other picks.

Trades would be allowed, as well. We'd probably need backups for teams, if possible, otherwise people could forget to pick, and pretty much kill the mock. Anyone interested?

Thanks guys for signing up.

I'm going to let this play out over the next few days, and try to then ask around on team boards to see if there would be an interest in the open picks still available. Know this is a sub-forum of a forum that isn't really that busy in comparison to the other realgm forums.

Would like to have 25 or more spot filled up on the time of the lotto

Course it's free. No way would I charge (or get away with charging people) for doing this. Just make sure to make your pick(s)

If we can't get more people to sign on, can we take more than 1 team? I wouldn't mind taking another team, just no BS trades between the two teams you'd have.

Well, there's only 14 teams unclaimed. If I can't get most of the rest filled by the lottery, I'd be okay with people claiming a 2nd team... I'm probably going to ask on team boards tomorrow night or Tuesday.

Really need to find someone on the Bobcats, as they are the only high lotto team left unclaimed.

I'm thinking of starting the draft on June 5th, as that should be enough time to get all the teams claimed/give people time to start trades prior to the draft.

Yeah, you're right. One person per team is definitely good. More then that, and it would just minimize trades and actions between teams.
