Don't like the standings but the players are Ok, also Adams will stay at least for a 2nd year at Pitt and Kabongo should stay too, pretty raw.

Thomas and McAdoo are too high.

i'd move down: noel, zeller, mcadoo, austin (i'd actually move him out), nash
i'd move up: adams, poythress, mitchell, abrines, porter (way up), blackshear, burke (way up), mbakwe
i'd move in: jarnell stokes

first round sleepers: ben mclemore, danuel house, glenn robinson III, rodney purvis
i also think ricky ledo will leave after 1 yr and get drafted in the late teens to 20s.
basically i think some guys will try to take advantage of the perceived lack of depth in the draft.

man i guess i could live with that draft but i dont see why the Magic wouldnt go with C Joshua Smith from UCLA in round 1 and a guy like Oriahaki(SP) in round 2(i know they drafted the same Positions this year but Oriahaki is a different type of PF. Nicholson is more of a Face up guy and Oriahaki is more of a post up guy. as far as the joshua Smith choice if Dwight does leave the magic will be needing a center and smith is pretty good and can do what dwight can do which is Post up and shoot and play good defense. Smiths Biggest Knocks are conditioning and he needs to slim down from that 300 pounds down to maybe 270.

I'd like to say I'd be happy with picks 8 and 26, but we'll see how Waiters works.

-james young is way too low imo. i think he can be better than shabazz.
-i think kasey hill is gonna be special but i'd still take andrew harrison over him.
-those 2012 bigs are overrated. tarz, ridley, parker, mcgary. all overrated as NBA prospects.
-look out for bobby portis. kid reminds me of a young J.O. i think he's another 1 and done candidate from his class.

Maybe. Too early to tell. Though their more pressing need is for a big man, not a wing. They have Kemba, Gordon, and Henderson all on the wing.

I'm sure they will taker the best player available, which to me is Noel.

their most pressing need is scoring. henderson isnt enough of a player to NOT draft shabazz. neither is reggie williams or maggette.
what makes noel the bpa?

Ben Gordon, Kemba Walker,Corey Maggette and Gerald Henderson is a lot of perimeter scoring. I think their bigger need is to get guys like Byron Mullins out of their starting frontcourt.

If they have Shabazz higher rated than Noel, then they should take him. I don't. I think Noel can be a top of the line NBA center who can be a big time defensive presence. Shabazz to me is more likely to be a quality role player than a star. Kind of like a larger OJ Mayo.

doesnt look like good, EFFICIENT scoring. neither henderson, williams nor maggette should even be brought up in the decision making process when determining who their pick should be. that's like wiz not being sure whether they should pick mkg or barnes since they just picked up ariza.
they are a putrid offensive team and BG only helps incrementally.
if they draft noel then what would be their frontcourt going forward? mkg, biyombo and noel? where is the scoring coming from? that team would just be begging for spacing problems.

That would be the best defensive frontcourt in basketball.

and the worst offensive one.
a bad offensive frontcourt destroys offensive continuity because the paint is automatically packed.

Noel has offensive upside if they are patient. And the 4 guards we talked about earlier can put the ball in the hoop. Also, it is much more difficult to get a talented 7 footer who can protect the rim than to get a wing player like Shabazz.

upside? maybe. i havent seen any glimpses of it. he seems to have really poor instincts offensively to go along with his low skill level.

they already have a paint protector with great upside. they need more balance.
even with gordon, they're gonna be awful on offense.
contested, tough jumpshots galore.

Not taking Shabazz because we have Henderson and Gordon is stupid and won't happen Henderson will be a free agent too and Gordon would have a 13.2 million expiring. I like Noel though but I want Shabazz and I don't agree with Detroit being the 2nd worst team.

I have Charlotte taking Noel because he is the best player in this draft IMO. Need was just a bonus.

I took the order directly from the betting odds of each team winning a title. I agree that Detroit won't be that bad. Put 5 bucks on them to win it all and you can make a lot of money. ;)

Lmao! I seen the odd to winning a championship order on a few other sites and i don't like it. I am torn between Noel and Shabazz. If we get Portland and or Detroit pick for this year we are definitely taking Shabazz because this draft has so many 7 foot centers and few sgs. If we don't get either extra picks it would be a hard choice between Shabazz and Noel.
