I haven't seen Shabazz to Philly in many other mocks, but I think it could make sense if he's still available.

Awesome mock. Zeller at #12 would be great! If that happens (or Dieng), I can't see another center at #29 (or #32). I'm thinking BPA at that point. We'll need a 3rd PG and another SG assuming Martin is not coming back. The PG is most likely a veteran on minimum salary scale due to his "just in case" rather than "development" role, but if Larkin fell to #29 (for example) we'd snatch him up in a heartbeat.

Seeing Milwaukee take MCW over Steven Adams, Dario Saric, and especially Dennis Schroeder would make me lose my mind. It's definitely a pick I can see our front office making...just hoping it doesn't happen.

I'm not a MCW fan either. With Monta and Reddick there, a big point guard like MCW makes some sense though.

Yeah, depending on who we bring back out of our 3 guards (B.Jennings an RFA, Monta with the ability to opt-out, JJ an UFA) I could see them prioritizing size in the backcourt.

If Giannis Adetokunbo fell to #29 then ya. For sure. But a close look at the notSonics salary situation reveals they don't have much money available for the end of the bench guys if they intend to stay under the tax line. That's even if they don't sign Martin... which is unlikely to me. So some cheap rookie contracts for kids that may grow into something helpful is probably the way to go.

Thanks, very helpful. Three rookies, Lamb, and Jones seems like an awful young end of the bench for a team with championship aspirations though. I'd imagine a vet minimum or two mixed in there.

Obviously Minny has a big hole at SG but that seems really high for him.

It just seems completely unimaginable to me that Utah, sitting there with the #21 pick, would take Jeff Withey while Dennis Schroder is still on the board there...

He's getting a lot of buzz in Minnesota at #9 -- even though I think it's been manifested from the fan base to the press. It's a need pick for sure, but he's one of the first we interviewed and one of the first we worked out. It's reported he was the most impressive out of the first crop of SG's we worked out. He fits our needs at that position quite well as a shooter that can play defense. DX has him 19, but Ford has been saying that he thinks he'll creep up into the top 10.

Personally, I agree with Ford. He's a guy to me that's a lot like a Paul George (merely from a draft stock POV), who was the alpha for a bad team all year, and his numbers weren't sensational as a result, but you get him into work outs against the competition and I think he begins to separates himself.

The T-Wolves needs are a starting SG, a back up Center, and back up SF -- in that order. McCollum doesn't have the size and we're reminded of trying Foye as a starting SG. One reporter said "no way" we take Shabazz at #9. If Len is gone, the other center prospects either aren't a great value at 9 -- Gobert, Adams -- or aren't the best fit Zeller (we need Length and defensive at that position to compliment Love and Pekovic).

I think you're probably right. I need to move Schroeder up, but I also think Utah lands a point guard elsewhere -- either FA or trade -- and not via this draft.

Not convinced Len still goes before Zeller. Zeller had a very strong combine and reported to be impressing in tryouts with his shooting and athleticism. Len has been forced to sit out with a stress fracture. Assuming Len does not go to the Cavs at 1 which has to be very unlikely it is not unreasonable to see him falling to 10 or 11 (Trailblazers or Sixers) with Zeller going anywhere between 6-9

Big guys with ability tend to move up quite a bit in every draft. With all the if's near the top in this draft, I expect that Zeller's and Len's stock will each go sky-high.

Zeller has super athleticism for a big guy, and is a high IQ and skilled player. He's now being compared to Aldridge and Bosh. And the comparisons have been favorible to Zeller. This guy won't make it out of the top 8..

Same for Len. Since he cannot work out, his body of work is becomming the stuff of legends. Some observers think he could be the top center in this draft, even better than Noel. He also might not make it out of the top 6. He won't go 7 to the Kings since they already have Cousins at center, so Len isn't a fit there, and he won't go 8 to the Pistons since they're not looking for a center - a PF, maybe. The Kings could use a PF as well.

Other guys moving up in this draft: Oladipo and MCW. Possibly also Shabazz, Olynyk and Plumlee.

Guys moving down: Burke, although it just takes one NBA team to love him to pick him high lottery. Someone might just convince themselves that his lack of size and enough athleticism to make up for his lack of size.

Shabazz won´t fall that deep imo... The Pelicans or Wolves will pick him if they can´t get McLemore or Oladipo
