1. Cleveland – NOEL– Frustrated, Cleveland bite the bullet and take Noel and hope to convince Kyrie they are still headed in the right direction
2. Orlando – OLADIPO – Good character guy and perfect complementary piece at the very worst (perhaps not great for #2 but it is that kind of draft
3. Washington – PORTER – First thought when Washington moved up to #3. Great fit to Wall and Beal.
4. Charlotte – BENNETT – See them taking him and having him and MKG man the forward spots for years to come. Probably re-sign Henderson too.
5. Phoenix – MCLEMORE – Great opportunity in Phoenix as they are desperate for talent at guard and at the small forward in the post-Nash era.
6. New Orleans – LEN – Upside of a Davis-Len combination too much to pass up in the end. Still have the makings of a good team if a max guy played like a max guy or played, period.
7. Sacramento – BURKE – Long-term solution at the point. Plays with a chip on his shoulder and he’ll bring leadership and poise as a rookie.
8. Detroit – CALDWELL-POPE – A bit of a boom or bust pick but Detroit do need guys to space the floor for Monroe/Drummond. KCP is a gunner and is a fair fit here.
9. Minnesota – MCCOLLUM – Tough situation and I’m not sure they go with McCollum but maybe he could be the Curry-lite to play with Rubio they could have got paired up for real in 2009
10. Portland – ZELLER – Would be a nice get in Portland as an Aldridge-clone. Is he the answer at C?
11. Philadelphia – ADAMS – Adams will provide upside at the C spot which they lack and he can come in and be a role player in not much time.
12. Oklahoma City – OLYNYK – Again not a sexy pick at all but OKC are at a point where NBA-ready players help them win now and potential help them win later.
13. Dallas – CARTER-WILLIAMS – Perhaps he doesn’t drop this far and I don’t know if Dallas keeps the pick but he is an intriguing option at the PG spot for Dallas after trotting out James, Fisher and ultimately going back to Collison
14. Utah – SCHROEDER – Utah go for it with Schroeder. He’s not a bad player and could pan out. Utah also junk playing guard so maybe this year they go with Schroeder and give Burks more PT.
15. Milwaukee – LARKIN – Another team in PG-limbo. Larkin is a competitor and could run the point for the second unit.
16. Boston – MUHAMMAD – Boston fall for Shabazz in the hope he comes in and proves all his detractors wrong. Big time team for a player who sees himself in the big time.
17. Atlanta – ADETOKUNBO – Pick stash. Hedging their bets. Could pan out, could not.
18. Atlanta – BULLOCK – Will need a player like Bullock at the 2/3 and I like what he could do as a solid role-player.
19. Cleveland – KARASEV – Think he drops from the Green Room this far. Cleveland take a gamble he can bring more than what Gee does. Gee is a good story from the D-League but Karasev could fit long-term.
20. Chicago – DIENG – I think they fish for a backup C. Dieng can come in and be a career backup and occasional starter. That’s enough for Chicago with Noah there already.
21. Utah – FRANKLIN – As above. Lacking any quality in the guard spots. Franklin can do a bit on the court and could fit in as a rotation player.
22. Brooklyn – NOGUEIRA – Brooklyn after a backup C who could be capable of more if he realizes his potential
23. Indiana – PLUMLEE – Just felt right. Would like Mason here more than Miles last year. Mason has been talked as a career 10th man but if he could give serviceable backup PT to Hibbert, he would serve his purpose.
24. New York – GOBERT – New York really do need some more size and I know they have had a bad experience with another French center but Gobert is planning to come over and play at least.
25. LA Clippers – CRABBE – Need some potential at the 2/3 area.
26. Minnesota – SNELL – Potential at the potentially-logjam of a SF spot in Minnesota with Kirilenko and Budinger.
27. Denver – HARDAWAY JR – Another team looking for a solution at the 2-guard more than anywhere else.
28. San Antonio – MITCHELL – Intriguing skill-set…I wonder if he can play the 3 or 4. If SA like him they’ll turn him into a serviceable NBA player…else he’s out. Could go for the Euro stash as they like to do.
29. Oklahoma City – MUSCALA – OKC again go for an established college player in the hope they can play in the NBA right away and provide some value. Late flyer.
30. Phoenix – LEDO – Phoenix go prospecting this late in the first-round.

Re: My attempt at a mock
I wasn't too bad with the early picks! No-one saw Bennett going #1 and that throws everyone's mock out of kilter.
