I think the trades are solid. As a Jazz fan, I like Robinson-Earl but I thing he is a poor fit for us. The last thing we need is another center, or a power forward who can't shoot (if you think he is a power forward, I do not). Archetypes we might look at:
Athletic wing defenders
Stretch fours
Backup point guards with size
In this case I'd probably take Jason Preston of the players available. If Indiana ends up trading Sabonis, I also wonder if they are going to go for a power forward at 13.

The Pelicans trade is a joke. They’re not giving up 10 for Sexton who has an immovable contract upcoming. And they certainly aren’t including NAW. Maybe the 2022 Laker’s pick and a 2nd rounder. What a terrible trade.

30 would be a reach for Preston IMO. If you want him, mine as well trade down and grab him at 45.
I do see Robinson-Earl as a stretch 4. His 3 point % last year wasn't great, but his catch and shoot 3 point % was very good....it's just that he was really bad on 3's off the dribble which drove his overall 3 point % down. For some reason, Villanova's system had him shooting lots of 3's off the dribble but if he goes to a NBA team that does a better job of maximizing his strengths, it's easy to see his % go up from 3 - he's got picture perfect shooting form on catch and shoot and is a career 76.8% FT shooter.
I def see him as more of a 4 than a 5, especially with how well he can switch defensively onto smaller/quicker guards/wings and D them up on on the perimeter..
