Random thoughts-Not loving this draft so far, not nearly as strong as this years, don't see a clear cut super star yet could see a few allstar level players here, not sure as far as overall depth in the draft as well.

Not locked in with Jabari Smith Jr as the number 1 pick definitely my favorite so far, I do love Chet Holmgren still a unique player maybe if Gonzaga weren't so deep we might see potential there to take over a game offensively, however his defense has been a game changer rim protection as well as overall defensive awareness has been amazing. All though he is very skinny and lanky maybe only a few times this has caused issues (getting boxed out by smaller guys e.t.c) his overall strength looks good on defense.

I like Paola Banchero just not sure what he offers outside of scoring, ok defensively, ok shooter. I think he has the potential to be a multiple time all star but prefer Smith and Holmgren, unsure why most major mock drafts have him 1, maybe i'm missing something.

Adrian Griffin Jr was one of my favourite prospects before the season started has only just returned starting to show production however watching highlights it looks like his athleticism which helped make him a can't miss prospect has faltered. Looks kind of slow and the teams he has played havn't been any teams of note.

Hugo Besson maybe a little high for most, however at times you have to value production over projection, not an amazing athlete or has great size but is a skilled scorer who also moves the ball well. Seeing how Lamelo and Giddey have translated after putting up good numbers in the NBL is a good sign as well. His team mate Ousmanne Dieng on the other hand who I had as a lottery prospect previously is struggling and is possibly a few years away from being NBA ready.

I really like Jean Montero would consider putting him higher just a real concern on the competition he is against in this new development league looks very average at best.

Random Notes
Trending down- Bryce Mcgowens Scoring really well, just worried that his 3 point shot wont come around limiting his NBA Potential
Michael Foster- Good player but after watching while really mobile his Nba position is center just don't see how a 6'8 center who atm doesn't shoots 3s efficiently is worthy of a first round pick
Ibou Baji- Still like the potential and measurables and is worthy of a flyer in the 2nd round more had him as an international gamble.draft & stash end of first round pick pretty much straight swap for Ismael Kamagate whos play of recent has rarely impressed me
Caleb Houstan- I had him first round previously due to his perceived potential and previous play for Canada at the junior level but just really has played poorly to be honest, would be surprised if he declares this year.
JD Davision still really like his upside and athleticism , play has cooled of recently hard to get consistent minutes with other alabama guards that garner NBA consideration as well, unless he's promised a pick in the first round could potentially parlay a featured role into a lottery pick for the 2023 NBA draft.

Trending up-
Ismael Kamagate- For a draft which is lacking in international studs this year, Ismael maybe a bright spot here. His production in the french first division has been great.
Jeremy Sochan- Just like the potential appears very toolsy and has great defensive upside.
AJ Griffin- Still don't love him and don't understand the lottery hype but he plays intelligently resulting in very efficient shooting splits. Don't agree that he has superstar upside but as a 3 and d guy, yes.
Julian Champagnie- I think Julian will make a great role player the NBA level, his shooting looks very translatable.
EJ Liddell- He really can do a little bit of everything. If he was abit more athletic or a couple inches taller I think he would be a lottery prospect for sure.

This a really loose ranking at this stage, I just do this for fun so I don't have time to watch all the games but this is my top 100 so far for the 2022 NBA draft. I am starting to get a clear idea on who will be picked in the lottery, I am liking this draft a little more as far as depth but still this definitely isn't a great year for a team to plan too tank for.

Got abit carried away over the weekend and extended my board to 150, sad part of this is while all of these guys are amazing basketball players a large portion probably won't touch the NBA. However a lot of these players even those who are near the lower tiers will return in future drafts, some names not widely known at the moment may have future lottery potential, who knows!

Trending up- Shaedon Sharpe on a draft lacking a clear cut star, Sharpe would be wise to declare this year. He is an elite athlete with the ability to dominate offensively, his 3 point percentages haven't been the best as of yet but his form looks good. My main concern is, there are quite a few examples of players who dominate in their high school year yet struggle to make an impact at the college level let alone the NBA. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes 5th , hard to gage what he will do at the moment.

Justin Lewis- I think you'll see Justin popping up in other big boards in the first round soon, has had some big games lately contributing all over the board, great shooter, plus defender.

Trending down-Trevor Keels has only just returned from injury, his decision making has been questionable at times, trying to do to much at times. In a team that has 3 other projected first round picks (4 if you like Wendell Moore) he really just needs to play to his strengths rather then take unnecessary shots.

Taran Armstrong- I still really like Tarans Potential but has cooled down after a hot start plus he has been injured the last month. Maybe he might be better of returning next year may struggle to generate draft buzz again this season playing at a smaller school.

Was tempted to move Chet to number one has been having some huge games lately want to see some of these games against teams with similar size.

I've had Walker Kessler in the 2nd round this year, I still do question his speed and athleticism at the next level, however his defensive metrics are insane starting to buy the potential to be a defensive menace at the rim at the next level.

Trending down

Max Christie joins a host of highly recruited high school stars who have been unable to put it together this year definitely better off waiting until next year or hoping someone takes a flier on him in the 2nd round.

Was meant to this a couple days before march madness but only half way through the last, first 4 game so it will do

Risers

Malakia Branham- Have had him near the top of the 2nd round since his 31 point outburst in Jan, has had some big games recently but also consistently. Strong frame, good shooter, have him over EJ, his team mate who I still really like, just prefer Branhams upside.

Johnny Juzang- Like the floor as a potential role player who can shoot 3's, also have a gut feeling he's going to lead UCLA to a deep run this year.

Fallers

Julian Champagnie- Still like the potential as a role player however overall maybe slightly disappointed with his year, St Johns miss out on the NIT tournament let alone the big dance. His numbers as well after a good start to his year have slightly gone down from last year as well. He will have to rely of a good combine or maybe teams hope that his twin brothers flashes in limited NBA game time will translate similarly for Julian .

Patrick Baldwin Jr-

I still believe a team may take a flyer on Patrick in the first round there are things to still like for a 6'9 wing who isn't afraid to shoot, its highly unlikely he will return next year unless he wishes to enter the transfer portal. Tough to figure out his draft range
