Random thoughts-Not loving this draft so far, not nearly as strong as this years, don't see a clear cut super star yet could see a few allstar level players here, not sure as far as overall depth in the draft as well.
Not locked in with Jabari Smith Jr as the number 1 pick definitely my favorite so far, I do love Chet Holmgren still a unique player maybe if Gonzaga weren't so deep we might see potential there to take over a game offensively, however his defense has been a game changer rim protection as well as overall defensive awareness has been amazing. All though he is very skinny and lanky maybe only a few times this has caused issues (getting boxed out by smaller guys e.t.c) his overall strength looks good on defense.
I like Paola Banchero just not sure what he offers outside of scoring, ok defensively, ok shooter. I think he has the potential to be a multiple time all star but prefer Smith and Holmgren, unsure why most major mock drafts have him 1, maybe i'm missing something.
Adrian Griffin Jr was one of my favourite prospects before the season started has only just returned starting to show production however watching highlights it looks like his athleticism which helped make him a can't miss prospect has faltered. Looks kind of slow and the teams he has played havn't been any teams of note.
Hugo Besson maybe a little high for most, however at times you have to value production over projection, not an amazing athlete or has great size but is a skilled scorer who also moves the ball well. Seeing how Lamelo and Giddey have translated after putting up good numbers in the NBL is a good sign as well. His team mate Ousmanne Dieng on the other hand who I had as a lottery prospect previously is struggling and is possibly a few years away from being NBA ready.
I really like Jean Montero would consider putting him higher just a real concern on the competition he is against in this new development league looks very average at best.
