It does not seem like these forums are formatted to allow BBCode and URLs currently. I am disappointed, I like to reference the RealGM player pages of the prospects that I am referencing. I have tried to contact the site and an admin to get this fixed, since March, but to no avail.

I don't know how much to read into some of the international preseason games, but I do think they at least grant some insight into what team rotations might look like for those who let the results be publicized. The international season is underway, and I'm certainly making a few snap decisions based on the first couple games that will likely balance out as the season goes. Even if the sample size is small, the insight into team rotations and prospects' roles on those teams is valuable. I am also flip-flopping a bit about my impressions of some of the incoming college freshman-- I certainly think there is an established big 3 at the top of the draft, but I do keep switching my opinion on who will be #1. I want to see if the college season establishes a consensus but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. This is what I have right now!
Also, I do notice that most professional outlets are quite a bit lower on Moustapha Thiam than I am. Being the aberration is a pretty clear sign that I'm the one who's off, but I want to point out that Thiam's freshman season is stunningly similar to Myles Turner's freshman season. I think that is frankly a high bar of expectations for a guy who probably isn't as ready as Turner was for the NBA (stats aside), but also I think his ceiling can be a bit higher all the same. I think there is a lot to like about him and I think Cincinnati will be a good program for him to work on his game.
