I looked at every team's needs, and drafted accordingly

1. Chicago Bulls select: Derrick Rose (PG, Memphis)
Chicago goes with BPA

2. Miami Heat select: Michael Beasley ( SF, K. State)
Miami fans seem pleased

3. Minnesota selects OJ Mayo (PG/SG, USC)
Minnesota fans are happy with this pick

4. Seattle selects: Jerryd Bayless (PG, Arizona)
Seattle now has Durant, bayless and green to build a team around

David Stern announces our first trade: minnesota sends jaric, Antoine walker and the rights of OJ Mayo to the Chicago Bulls for Hinrich and a re-signed Ben Gordon

The crowd is going nuts!!!

5. Memphis Grizzlies select: Kevin Love (PF, UCLA)
6. The NY Knicks select: Anthony Randolph (SF/PF, LSU)

The Knicks fan revolt and security is needed to calm the masses

Tim Legler thinks it's a risky pick for the knicks

7. The LA Clippers select: Eric Gordon (PG/SG, Indiana)
8. Milwaukee selects: DJ Augustin (PG, texas)
This is the first real reach of the draft

9.Charlotte Bobcats select: Brook Lopez (C, Stanford)
10. The New Jersey Nets select: Russell Westbrook (PG, UCLA)
The Net's fans are befuddled with this pick.

Stephen A Smith reports that Westbrook will most likely be traded.

11. The Indiana Pacers select: DeAndre Jordan (C, Texas A&M)

This pick makes Jermaine O'Neal available for trade

David Stern announces another trade: There has been a trade, Knicks fans! NY has traded the rights to Randolph, 2009 first round pick (top 15 protected) and Nate robinson to the NJ Nets for Sean Williams, the rights to Russell Westbrook and the #21 pick

There is absolute chaos in the Garden crowd

12. The Sacramento Kings Select: Joe Alexander (SF, West Virginia)

13. The Portland Trailblazers select: Danilo Gallinari (SF, Italy)

David stern announces another trade: Miami sends Haslem, Blount and the rights to Beasley to the LA Clippers for Brand and the rights to Eric Gordon

Miami now has a starting lineup of Gordon, Wade, Marion, brand and Mourning

Walton claims this trade is HOOOORRRIIIIBBBLLLLEEE

14. The golden state Warriors select: Darrell Arthur (PF, Kansas)

15. Phoenix suns select: Donte Greene (SF, Syracuse)

16. Philadelphia 76ers select: Mareese Spreights (PF, Florida)

17. Toronto selects: Kosta Koufos (C, Ohio State)

18. Washington selects: Roy Hibbert (C, Georgetown)

Portland sends a second round pick to the hawks for cash

There is a three team deal in serious discussion, involving the nets and two other

teams. Stay tuned…

19: Cleveland selects: Nicolas Batum (SG, France)

20. Denver selects: Mario Chalmers (PG, Kansas)

21. NY Knicks select: Brandon Rush (SG/SF, Kansas)

22. Orlando selects: Jason Thompson (PF, Rider)

23. Utah selects: JaVale McGee (C, Nevada)

Phoenix sends cash to Minnesota for a second round pick (#31)

25. Houston selects: Serge Ibaka (PF, Congo)
26. San Antonio selects: Bill Walker (SG/SF, Kansas state)
27. New Orleans selects: JJ Hickson (PF, NC State)
28. Memphis selects: Courtney Lee (SG, Western Kentucky)
29. Detroit selects: C. Douglas-Roberts (SG, Memphis)
30. Boston selects: Nathan Jawai (PF/C, Australia)

A major three team deal has been completed:

NJ trades carter and ager (huge salary dump for the nets),
receives Ben Wallace (2 years) and trade exception

Cleveland trades scerbiack (expiring), eric snow (expiring) and ben Wallace (2
years),
receives jermaine o'neal, ager and vince carter

Indiana trades jermaine o'neal,
receives scerbiack (expiring), snow (expiring), 2009 1st round pick

Stuart Scott thinks this is a great deal for all three teams.

The draft day winners:

Miami

PG Gordon

SG wade

Sf Marion

PF Brand

C Mourning

Cleveland:

PG West

SG Carter

SF James

PF O'Neal

C Ilgauskas

The Nets trade for Zach Randolph and Ben Wallace ? LOL

No to mention that Randolph deal is horrible , noboby gives up a top10 pick , a young big and a #21 Pick for Zach Randolph . Hell maybe one of these ...

And Carter for the useless Ben Wallace ? WTF ?

The Nets instantly become the Knicks Luxury tax but deep lottery land ...

The Nets have no SG after these trades not even a backup ....

Nets Lineup after these trades :

PG Harris / Robinson / Williams
SG Nobody
SF Jefferson
PF Randolph / Krstic
C Ben Wallace / Josh Boone

Then we sign MLE and LLE guys .... What is that ?

Oh sorry but we're still missing a SG , RJ can't play SG ....

Suggestions :

- In the Knicks deal substitut Sean with Marcus or leave out Robinson and Sean or change Robinson to Chandler because with the current deal the Nets have 3 young PG's

- In the Cleveland deal you have to change Vince to RJ and change the deal , The Nets are currently completely dependable on Vince Carter while RJ is nothing more then a second / third option that plays good within the flow of the game .

the reason why minnesota would make that trade is because they lose their two worst contracts and they get back a starting pg and a very good combo guard in gordon. This is as much for talent as it is for salary cap reasons.

PG Hinrich
SG Gordon
Sf Brewer
PF Gomes
C Jefferson

This is a very good lineup, and you have cap flexibility

Walker? He's on his final year. That is an asset, not a liability. The Wolves have Foye and McCants already. The last thing the Wolves need is a log-jam in the back court. If they draft Mayo, they are either looking to trade him for a big + a lower pick, or they are looking to deal McCants. IMO, what you suggest does nothing for the Wolves.

Wolves puke. After cleaning the puke out of their mouths, they say "replace Gordon with Deng and Hinrich with Noah and then we can talk."

Wolves hang up phone.

Gordon (Ben) can't be a S&T before July 1st - so it can't happen on draft night.

Jazz pass on Robin Lopez and JJ Hickson to go after McGee? Sure McGee has tons of potential but he's lazy and is a project who won't do squat for 2 years (and may never pan out). Hickson and Lopez should be ready to put in 10-15 minutes a night by December.

I think we will pass on Ibaka. We already have set, but he does play C also and it might not be a bad pick after all. He is very athletic and explosive. But with Courtney Lee and CDR on the board I think we will draft one of those players.

Alexander and Gallinari will not go this low. Also, I would switch Augustin and Westbrook.
