Very nice mock. You are a little more in love with Flynn and Blair than I am, but you are not the only one. If Mullens stays in this draft, he is a lottery pick on potential alone. I think Orlando would probably rather have Mills, from St. Mary's, than Lawson. The Magic need size from their backup with Jameer being small. Mills fits that better and is a clear cut first round pick IMO.

Small squables, but nice overall.

You know that Mills is about 5'10" and a buck 70 - right?

I predict that OKC doesn't end up with the worst record. As far as the ping pong balls goes I can't say. But those young guys are beginning to gel as a unit and are starting to understand the mental part. There's less talented teams than them in the league.

With Jeff Green showing he can handle power forward with a David West type of game I could see James Harden as their draft pick if they can get him.

Detroit would love to come away with a C (albeit a big project) in Mullens, but I dont think he falls that far

I would love for the Pistons to draft Mullens, but he's going to be a top 5 pick and Detroit currently is around the 18th pick.

No Patrick Mills, and for me Brandon Jennings is way to high and over rated, he will need alot more time

I don't see Aminu falling that far. If anything, his stock is rising. I love Maynor to Orlando. I am not sure he lasts that long, but Orlando would surely snatch him up if he is there. All in all nice work.

Thanks for the feedback, I too dont think the AFA would fall that far but I didnt see that many teams that would need him early. Do you think that Golden State would want him over Brandon Jennings? And who are you higher on: Al-Fraq Aminu or Earl Clark?

I think he will go before Jennings and Clark. GS is a tough nut to crack because they have decent young guys at every position. I do not see them going PG though, so Aminu prolly makes more sense than Jennings.

Most people will not agree, but I see Monroe going ahead of Harden. Harden is a nice player, but IMO he's way too slow/unathletic to be the next Brandon Roy, while I see Monroe as a player with major upside. He's very young right now in a system that's not stats friendly, but he has a high skill level, great frame/body, solid athleticism, good defender, and is a great passer with a very good feel for the game. I definitely think Monroe should be ahead of Jordan Hill, who is basically Tyrus Thomas 2.0 (nice athlete and defensive player in general, but not that big, and fairly limited offensively).

You should also probably have Ricky Rubio in your mock, as Chad Ford is now saying it's quite likely that he'll declare, according to many inside sources. Here's Chad Ford's latest on Rubio:
Rubio isn't dominating in Spain, but he's getting better and better by the game. A number of NBA scouts and executives are just getting back from Spain and, after watching Rubio play in Copa del Rey, I haven't heard one that doesn't have him ranked in the top three. Most of them have him at No. 2 now, ahead of Georgetown's Greg Monroe.

Rubio's position in the top three is significant for one big reason: He has a huge buyout from his team in Spain. To afford the buyout, he really needs to be a top-three pick. Publicly, the mood has been pessimistic that Rubio would be in this draft, with a series of international stories claiming Rubio is staying overseas and other draft sites pulling him from their 2009 mock drafts. Privately, his agent, Dan Fegan, has been working on this for months, and we've been getting the same signals all along: Rubio is entering this year's draft.

Rubio still needs to work on his jumper and get stronger, but his floor leadership and energy are just remarkable. He's a special playmaker.

IMO it should be Griffin 1st, Rubio 2nd, Monroe 3rd, Harden 4th, Thabeet 5th, even though I don't really see Harden or Thabeet being true stars, more like 2nd/3rd best players on a good team.
