From Minnesota's standpoint this would make my dreams come true.

I would have to say that I LOVE the combo of Mullens and Budinger that the Bulls get in this draft. Dream draft for them in my opinion. But I doubt they keep these picks. People could be picky... but I think this looks like a good mock. Very similar to mine actually, except that I kept Casspi and Lawal in mine.

Not the perfect draft for the Wolves in my opinion, but darn near close. I'll take it. We add some much needed athleticism, size, and defense to the perimeter.

Sam Young seems like a waste, though, and I'd prefer either a center prospect, or someone we can stash in Europe, like Omri Casspi.

I kind of agree actually...but there are very few center prospects in this draft. I kind of went BPA there...though Young has kind of the similar game to Gomes in that he's more comfortable inside but doesn't have the size. He probly has a little more refined perimeter shot and quicker first step than Gomes did coming out of college though. You never know how long guys like Gomes, Smith, Carney, etc. are going to stay with one team though so minutes could hypathetically open up.

Yeh if DeRozan can live up to his potential he'd be a great perimeter complement to Al Jefferson inside. Maynor has every bit the chance to be the best PG in the draft as anybody else in my opinion. He is recognized by the people that matter but is in general underrated by the masses...and the Wolves obviously need a steady hand at the point.

Derozan is like a powerball ticket that costs 5 million dollars. Low chance of payoff and you have to pay a ridiculous price just for the opportunity.

Notice no argument on his hatred for money, lollipops, puppies, and sunshine, though. DSW is the Debbie Downer of the Wolves board. Every party needs a pooper, and ours is you.

Just how many sure bets do you see in the pool after Blake Griffin?

Updated without Patterson/Brackins and with some other whimsical changes.
