Decent mock, but Lawson seems way too low at 23

Very nice. I may not agree with everything, but I do not vehemently disagree with anything, which is rare.

I had the same concern when I was making it, but at the same time, I couldn't find where he would go higher up. To Atlanta instead of Flynn, maybe? That's still not very high, though.

As of right now, Flynn will go ahead of Lawson.

Lawson isn't going to drop to 23.

Not sure what this is based on, but considering Flynn hasn't even worked out yet I don't know how far ahead he is on teams boards, if he is at this point.

The Kings' draft would be AMAZING if they could take Griffin AND Lawson. PERFECT draft in my eyes.

Workouts can clearly change a lot. But, right now Flynn is a lotto pick and Lawson is 16-23.

I'm guessing that the Raptors would take T. Williams over Henderson.

If the Raptors take Williams at #9, I will jump out of my chair and yell "the ghost of Rafael Araujo lives". That is how bad of a pick Williams would be at #9.

This is the second mock recently that has Jordan Hill dropping to Memphis. If it does work out this way that's probably about as good as it gets for the Grizzlies. Dejuan Summers over Omri Cassipi at #27 is one of those subjective things where that far down the draft order it's about the best player available philosophy over need so until a team can personally compare players it's tough to argue.

I think a lot of people try to do their mock in such a way that it appeases everyone by looking forward in the draft and making sure everyone gets a little bit of what they need. Sadly, this is not how the actual draft works, but people always seem to do it anyways. This is how perfect fit guys usually seem to magically fall to the team that needs them in a lot of mock.

Not talking about this mock specifically.

DJ Augustin to Cha last year is a good example, people would have avoided that cause of Felton

In reality mock draft don't seem to be very accurate out of the top 5

Or maybe after passing up the actual Iggy back in 2004 by taking Hoffa they hope to draft the next best thing this draft?

Imagine if they took BJ Mullens at #9 this draft and he ended up like Hoffa and someone below them took Williams and he ended up like Iggy V.2?

I'm pretty sure they would burn TO to the ground!

In what world is Terrence Williams anything like Iggy? Williams is an NBA role player.

Mullens would also be a bad pick at #9, but a better one than Williams because while risky, at least he has all star upside.

It's a pity you can't see the irony. You might actually get a kick out of it.
