Re: The Official 2010 Cammo Mock Thread
These just random/predicted records for the 2009-2010 season?
Sounds like White as a top 3 pick is a pretty huge reach at this point, but who knows 8 months from now, he could have a rgeat Sophomore season. Most T-Wolve fans are man crushing on Evan Turner right now as a great big guard next to Flynn/Sessions/Rubio/Sink.
Your mock has the Wolves missing out on both Utah and Charlotte's picks that are owed to them. Interesting. Clippers in the play-offs? Hmm...

Yeah, I just randomly did the order based on how I thought the season might shake out. I did not spend a ton of time on the order, it is just kind of a placeholder until the season starts. I will not mess with the owed picks until the season starts. I will get them in there eventually though.
Terrico White had a monster offseason with the U19 National Team and he looks like this years James Harden to me. Obviously a lot of these guys could go either way at this point, but White's stock is soaring. Evan Turner would be a nice fit in Minny as well, but he and Flynn are both guys who like to play with the ball in their hands.

Re: The Official 2010 Cammo Mock Thread
I still think Turner goes over Warren and top 8 when it is all said and done, but at least you don't have Warren higher like a lot of people do.
You really think the Nets would go Davis over Monroe?
And what's up with Craig Brackins? I've seen him high on a lot of boards and I haven't got to see him play much, some say he'll wind up as high as 7th to 10th when it's all said and done if the Nets pick around those spots and Favors, Monroe and Davis are all off the board already.
How bout my boy Scotty Hopson? I know he doesn't have the most expansive skillset, but I think he turns into a hell of a shooter and around a 18ppg scorer or higher, you think very early 2nd?
Express and dot net don't even have him presenty getting drafted.
How do you feel about Larry Sanders btw?
I like him a lot as a prospect, but I want to see how his limited offensive game looks without Maynor by his side making life easy for him. He also needs to put on some weight.
Noticed you didn't have Buford on there. How come? Not good enough yet, or you think he waits another year before he declares?
All in all I like it and always look forward to your mocks even though we have tend to disagree strongly on certain prospects.

Re: The Official 2010 Cammo Mock Thread
I need to see a little more from Hopson and Buford before they pop up on here, but both have the tools. Brackins is legit, he reminds me of James Thompson. Larry Sanders is a freak athlete, his offense is raw, but if he gets a more rounded offensive game then he could go early. He and Varnado are similar.

I heard Brackins offensive game is more face up and perimeter orientated and that his defense is suspect, is it true?

He is a guy who can score inside and outside. A lot of skill offensively. He is not a great defender, but he is not a bad one either.

Dallas' pick belongs to New Jersey. New York's pick belongs to Utah. Phoenix pick belongs to Oklahoma City. Utah's pick belongs to Minnesota. Lakers pick belongs to Memphis. Denver's pick belongs to Memphis.
Nice mock but I think you have Evan Turner too low. I see him going in the top 7.

And in this situation the Wolves wouldn't get the Utah pick because it's top 14 protected.

I still need to see more of him before I can give you an accurate scouting report. A lot of what I know about him is second hand from this summer. I remember seeing him a little last year, but not enough to give a great scouting report.
When I see more of him, I will get you one.

Re: The Official 2010 Cammo Mock Thread
It'll take a month for me to come up with my invaluable... or unvaluable... contributions. But I would put Monroe in the top 3 and Davis lower. I like Davis, but as a solid player who does not have all-star potential. Monroe - if he can get stronger and tougher - does have all-star potential. I do think Grevis Vazquez puts up numbers this season that make him a 1st rounder. I'm a Terps fan, but I'm objective. He's worked tremendously hard this offseason on his quickness and strength. Look for some triple doubles from him.

I have not seen a ton of him, but I like what I have seen. Tall and athletic. I will be hunting down some tape on him this year.
