My Mock Draft: Second Half of the season

Post#1 » by dcaff1893 » Sun Feb 14, 2010 9:03 pm

top 5 make yours and explain why

New Jersey: John Wall
Why?
Wall is the obvious pick here there is very limited guards in a bigs heavy draft and even though the nets have harris they might be willing to trade him if they get the first pick, also because john wall in new jersey means lebron might be per swayed to come to new jersey and form a possible one two punch that could run the nba for years to come.
Minnesota: Evan Turner
Minnesota has already taken bigs and guards in the last couple drafts and they still have big al so they would not need a big and also have flynn and rubio still so no point guards, the obvious second choice here is because of turners potential to be a mcgrady type player would interest any team but minnesota needs players at the wing spot and that could be turner. id lol my a** off if minesotta took another point guard here, possibly bledsoe, but not likely.
Golden State: Wes Johnson
This kid can flat out play and is a big time energy player that can hang with golden states run and gun offense, they have there point guard of the future in steph curry and are set at possibly every spot but the small forward so it would make sense in so many ways.
Sacramento: Cole Aldrich
The kings need a big. They have two scoring capable bigs in hawes and thompson and just need a good interior prescence which is why aldrich is selected here to come in and be a energy player off the bench for hawes and possibly become the starter seeing how good he could be, but the kings have enough scorers and just need a good defensive minded big which is where aldrich comes in for them.
Washington Wizards: Demarcus Cousins
After trading haywood they need a good center, the wizards have a horrible history of centers in brendan haywood and a few other scrubs and they would be smart to pick a nice player like cousins, but this is a team that needs lots of help because they have been ignoring the fact they need to rebuild and nows the time to blow up the team and get a good free agent guard to get the ball to cousins

I know Favors hasn't been a world-burner this year, but out of the top 5?

Possibly Bledsoe? At 2nd overall? Lol is right, it isn't even in the realm of possibilities.
