K-Mart, Okafor, Bibby for Martin and Marvin?

Post#1 » by pugilistfan » Wed Feb 13, 2008 6:54 pm

Should I do it?

Its a keeper league and there are 15 roster spots with 11 starting positions. It is daily and its a 12 team league. Depth is really important in this league and I need blocks, rebounding and 3's.

Im the one giving up Kevin Martin and Marvin Williams.

It's a tough call... My gut reaction? I'd rather have Okafor than Kevin Martin.

Yeah it is really tough. Its a very close deal in my opinion.

How much will my FT% go down with this trade?

Yeah I agree. I think im giving up the best player in the deal.

But do you like it from a depth standpoint.

Id get Kenyon Martin and drop Jamario Moon. Do you think this is that much of an upgrade for pulling off the deal?

I'd take Marvin Williams or Bibby any day, especially in a keeper league. Williams has a Corey Maggette like value in that he'll get to the line a good number of time per game and hit them at a very good rate.

Kenyon Martin may not even be worth a roster spot next year and Okafor isn't even worth a top 50 pick at this point.

Martin on the other hand has held a top 20 rankings almost all year.

I don't like this deal in any way for you. If you need blocks, try trading Marvin straight up.

I would say Kmart and Moon are almost equal...
