Arenas Trade

Post#1 » by Revann22 » Mon Feb 25, 2008 9:23 pm

Im getting jason terry and josh howard for ARENAS

this is a keeper league so that trade hurts me in the future, but im making a playoff push being 2.5 games behind playoffs.

What do u all think... and who should i drop if i do this trade

MY Team is

Iverson
Igoudala
Felton
Artest
Granger
David West
Kaman
Noah
Thomas
Outlaw
Warrick
Arenas
Blount

IMO my worst player is Noah ATM, but i need 3 centers. So, im stuck.

Your input is appreciated.

Thanks

hmm i think terry and howard is a pretty good return... i think howard can be a top 25 guy specially with kidd running the point for now

Which Thomas is that? I would drop Blount, Noah or Outlaw... They were probably picked up off waivers so no big loss. Anybody else, I would be looking to go 2 for 1 and get a C back.

I think that if you go for the trade it is good value. Not many people are getting decent offers for an Arenas coming off microfracture... I was offered Arenas + Felton for VC. When news hit that Arenas was going to miss his March 2nd return date, I refused. From my point of view, Carter's going to be borderline superstar with JKidd gone and the Nets making a playoff push.

Now whether you should do this trade, that's a tough tough call. Me personally I'd have to judge how close I am to winning it all. If I have a really good chance, and getting a few extra players will push me over the top, I'd go for it. If I'm making the trade hoping that I'll get lucky in the playoffs I dont know if I do that trade...

If it were me, I'd accept the trade, drop Noah, and attempt to trade for a center. I've been offered Iguodala for Dalembert before, which was a handsome offer. I eventually refused because that particular fantasy team was dominating blocks.
