What to do with Jason Terry?

Post#1 » by Raptorian » Sun Mar 30, 2008 8:10 pm

Jason Terry has been up and down all season (mostly down), and really his production is really not deserving of the 55th overall pick (ranked at the start of the season).

In the last month, he has been averaging:
44FG%, 1.1 3PT, 12.6 PPG, 2 rpg, 2 apg, 1 spg, 1 TO

Outside of low TO's he is really not a contributor in any particular category. Is it time for me to cut my loses here and grab someone more effective for the playoffs? I thought that maybe with Dirk's injury he would take on more of a scoring load, but this hasn't really panned out.

Players available are Moon, Noah, Charlie V, Thornton, Stackhouse.

Others on my team: Bosh, Amare, G Wallace, Dunleavy, Biedrins, Foye, Barbosa, Okafor, Warrick, Peja, Pietrus,

I would keep him or take Thornton. The other players available wont be as productive

If you are playing head to head in your league I would go big and let Terry go. His value was as a 3 pt shooter but he has not done that this year and the arrival of Kidd has not changed that. You won't be giving up much in the way of assists, steals etc. and you might get a guy who puts you over the top in rebounds, blocks, and points.
