Thaddeus Young

His scoring may not go up with all the talents philly brings in, but 11p 5r 1.5stl with solid percentage and low TOs can still be valuable.

I am considering taking Young in late 9th round (108 overall). Do you think it will be worth it or not?

If you get him in the 9th and he has a Rudy Gay like leap his sophmore year, then he is a steal.

If you take him in the 9th and he doesn't amount to anything, then he's waiver fodder and you switch him out - no real harm done.

I'm betting though that at least once through the season his stock is going to be sky high because he'll throw a couple of good stat games together in a row and everyone will forget about all the games that he doesn't do a thing in so you will get a good return in a trade for him.

So, bottom line: Buy low, sell high I say. Just don't draft him too high.

9th round is good enough for Young. I'm sure you have a core of all-stars already since you are in a 12 team league I assume. So the 9th round is a good time to risk a bit. I'm pretty sure Young won't fail you. I don't expect him in any way playing like Gay. That's out of the question. I'd say a 10-13 ppg and 4-6 rpg is an accurate prediction. Iggy, Brand and Miller will take most of the shots. Louis Williams and Green are also offensive players, so don't expect a huge upside.

If players like Salmons, Thornton are free, prefer them. If not, Young is the guy.
