Calling all Fantasy Gurus: PG question

Post#1 » by RonaldArtest » Fri Sep 26, 2008 3:35 pm

Hey guys, just a quick question.

I'm in a fantasy league, and I need a PG to finish my line-up. These are my choices:

- Jerryd Bayless
- Derek Fisher
- Delonte West
- Mike Conley
- Rodney Stuckey
- Ramon Sessions
- Luke Ridnour
- Chris Duhon
- Louis Williams

My question to you: Of these players, who are your top-3 guys, and why?

Thanks in advance RealGM bretheren!

What stat categories do you need? Assts? Pts? Stls? low TOs?

Shoot, knew I forgot something.

I need assists, low turn-overs, and steals.

I does depend on who starts, but Sessions, Conley, Ridnour, Duhon.

I would take a flyer on Conley.

Duhon sounds like the best fit for the categories you need.

Conley has the most upside of the bunch.

I think Ridnour will end up playing more minutes in Milwaukee, so I'd take him over Sessions. Either way, they will probably be splitting minutes though.

Fisher might even be worth a look as well. Doesn't give you many assists, but he should still get PT this year, and get you a steal a game with low TOs.

Stuckey, Lou Will if you need points.

Ridnour if you want assists.

Duhon is a question mark but he might be a surprise. Draft him if youre feeling lucky.

I would avoid Bayless, Conley and West because there's too much competition in their teams with at least 2 more PGs.

wouldn't it be fun though, if the Bucks gave 35 minutes to Sessions right from the get go?

Bayless is going to score at the 2, I think he'll be a 6th man candidate especially if Roy gets hurt. Conley would be first for assists though. Ridnoir is going to start and should have good assist numbers; I'd be surprised if Sessions gets more than 10 minutes early in the year. Duhon is supposedly the starter, but ugh what an ugly team in NY. Lou Will and Stuckey will both get solid bench minutes with Will getting more assists. Fischer is basically a 2 guard because he brings the ball up for Kobe, so essentially all you get is a good FT%. I'd wait and see on DWest but I don't see much opportunity for him to do anything fantasy worthy.

^^ Can you see Bayless getting plenty of mins at the 2 when they're bringing over Rudy Fernandez as well? I'd say he's the 6th man of the year candidate.

Thanks for the advice fellow RealGMers!

Duhon is definitely at the top of my list.

D'antoni coming in with his heart set on Duhon running the show. Marbury won't suit up.
