Looking at taking Lebron at 2 in hope that his FT goes up a bit.
In a reg h2h league 16 teams.
The question is, who do I take at the 32nd or whatever pick to complement him?. Looking like bigmen are going to be fairly slim..

Take Dwight Howard and tank the ft%.

yeap after taking Lebron, Howard is the best choice there is.
in fact if it's a 10 or 12 team league you can gamble on Dwight falling to the 3rd round, and get Camby or Baron Davis in the 2nd round

If you take Howard after taking Lebron, you're basically tanking to's / ft%.
So what you do is keep taking guys that are going to help you dominate in FG%, 3's, steals, rebounds, points, assists.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, would you say taking amare over lebron at 2 then going for swingman like iguodala in the 2nd would be a wiser move in a 16 team L ?

For H2H league,I'd rather prefer a specialist team hence Bron-Howard combo seems more intriguing. For a roto league,I'd definitely go with Amare+swingman(Carter/Iggy/PP)

Re: Complementing Lebron James in the Second round?
in a 16 team league he won't be able to get Lebron's compliments at the 31th pick. Davis, Howard, Camby, Jsmoove will all be gone by then. Howard might fall because of his FT% but I wouldn't count on it, there will always be a team who'll ignore the FT% and take him before 30.
so there are 3 guys that might fall to 31: Deron, Kaman and Boozer. Artest, Carmelo and JRich are great compliments as well but they are almost sure to fall.
