I always look at a teams C's and then look at the rest of the team. You have decent C's and have 3 of the best all around stat player in Wade, Smith and Iguodola. I don't know if you are going to do so well in 3's. I think the Suns are going to slow down with Terry Porter as their coach.....
I'm so tired of the typical......

Roy is worth more in a trade than what he'll give you. Work him into a trade with Marvin. Williams is worth what you can get on the wire unless he improves signifigantly.

Amazingly enough, just took your suggestion and now trying to trade Roy/Williams for Kidd/Villanueva.

I'd take that deal. Marvin Williams is just a recognizable name that you see later in the draft. He doesn't do a whole lot besides decent scoring and rebounding...no rare cats to speak of. Villanueva has a bit more upside imo.

And Kidd > Roy. I doubt Kidd takes enough shots to hurt your fg% if that is something that worries you. I wouldn't.

Massive win for you if you pull it off. Good luck!

Deal didn't go through. So he sent me back an insulting offer: Kidd, Ronnie Brewer, Villanueva for Wade, Roy, Marvin Williams. Rejected it.

So I tried to go back to the basics with by me sending: Roy/Marvin Williams for Kidd/Tyrus Thomas. He rejected that. Now I'm trying Roy/Barbosa for Kidd/Villanueva.

Keep Roy and Barbosa...

Btw, we have similar teams, I'm in a 14 team league, have J.O/Josh Smith/Haywood/Barbosa/Fisher along with Nash/Carter/Deng/Kaman/Wilcox/Outlaw/Posey/Rush.

the guy's gonna probably reject it anyway. similar teams, indeed. our 20-team draft should be most interesting.

20 teams is a bit much still. But we'll see how the draft goes and if the majority of those players stay active during the season.

I'd personally rather have Roy and Barbosa, but maybe just because I like both of those guys outside of fantasy ball too. Kidd is definitely the best player in the trade fantasy wise, but Roy and Barbosa are both guys who give you solid numbers in a lot of cats. Barbosa with points, 3's and steals. Roy can go off from deep and give you numbers all over the stat sheet.

I think you're going to lose 3 pm every week - all your top picks aren't 3 pt shooter and of your role players - only Raja (who will have a smaller role this year, imo) and Barbosa will have the capability of hitting more than 3 a game. (and they're on the same team, which means if the team has an off night or a 3 game week - you're done) Iguodala, Wade and Roy are all meh 3 pt producers...

I think you'll dominate rebounding because all your guards are heavy rebounders - Wade, Iguodala and Roy, Smith are all capable of pulling ten down...plus O'Neal, Bogut and Haywood. That's roughly 60/70 boards between 7 players...

Kinda weak on assists - personally...I'd trade a Bogut for an Okur, or something like that...or a PG that nails lots of threes (Rafer?, Nash (impossible to get), Quinn? (late pick), Roger Mason...maybe try to low ball for the injured Battier.
Pretty neat and on the fridge for the real fans:

Alright, new trade is in the works:

I am sending: Iguodala/Raja Bell
I am receiving: Calderon/Grant Hill

Thats a pretty bad trade IMO...

Iguodala is going to average above 5 assists per game, and will still give you 2 spg, 46% shooting, and 20 ppg.

Calderon has good percentages, assists and 3's, but Grant Hill is about ready to fall off. Calderon is not better than Iguodala fantasy wise, especially when it comes to point production/steals/rebounds...

You actually don't need Calderon, when you have wade who's going to get you 7+ apg, and Iguodala who will get 5-6 apg...Roy should also anywhere between 5-6 apg...You also have the best passing big man in the game with Andrew bogut.

If you trade Iguodala, you're going to be missing a hell of a lot in the steals category...

You're gettign assists and fg% from calderon, and decent ppg from Hill, but you lose rebounds, 3's, points, and steals giving up Iggy and Raja Bell..

Slot in Brandon Roy for Iggy, and you should be good to go. Iggy is slightly more valuable than Roy at the moment, and with the influx of talent on that portland team, I'm not sure how much more he's going to improve on his numbers.

How is he weak in assists?

3 of his guards/forwards average above 5 apg... Wade 7, Iggy 5, and Roy 5...Iggy and Roy might reach 6 apg, with the additions of brand/rush and the improvement of Young/Williams. Same goes with Oden/Fernandez/Bayless joining the Blazers.

On top of that Bogut is an excellent passer.

He's not #1 in steals, as he's missing a true PG, but he's above average for sure. Wade basically constitutes as a PG in the Andre Miller/Billups mold, as far as assists go.

After all of these threads of speculation, I've decided that I'm not going to make any moves.
