Who do you think would be better, in a H2H league.

Definitely Stephen Jackson. With Baron gone, and Monta out. Stephen Jax is going to shoulder a lot of the scoring load. I've had him on my team before and he is a fantasy stud that flies under the radar. He'll get you ridiculous threes, points, great FT percentage, decent Assts and Rebounds, and a lot of steals. Stephen Jax is a solid pick. We don't even have Odom's role ironed out yet. He could be coming off the bench, thus making the case for Stephen Jax much stronger.

S-Jax is the safe pick but that fg% will be much harder to swallow with increased shot attempts.

Odom's role has not been defined yet but dont forget that every year he played,he outperformed S-Jax statistically. His ceiling is much higher(top-35/40) but as a result of his current situation,I'd rate him around 55 range which is where I rate S-Jax as well.If it was roto,I'd have gone with Odom but in H2H IMO S-jax becomes more attractive.

How can people say something that is beyond me.

Odom will still get at least 32-33 mpg even if he comes from the bench.

He will still get double digit points 8 rebounds 3 assists great fg% and a combined steals+blocks around 1.6-1.8 range.

S-jax's fg% of 40.5% may even go lower since the increase in his shots coupled with his poor shot selection may result his fg% to dip below 40% (and he had 16 fga last year so his damage in that regard will be huge).

Add that he will also see an increase in his turnovers(already high at 2,7 level).

So my prediction for Odom next season is
13 ppg 8 rpg 3 apg 53% fg %70 ft 1,7 turnovers 0,6 3's 0,9 spg 0,7 bpg
For Jackson
22 ppg 4 rpg 5,5 apg 39,5% fg %84 ft% 3,1 turnovers 2,5 3's 1 spg 0,3 bpg

I really dont see "2-3 rounds better" player in here.

Odom is the better player comfortably over the other 8 cats but Jackson is an elite 3 point shooter which more than makes up for it. The extra 2 3's he hits makes a massive difference.

2-3 rounds of difference?

I'm still gonna stick with S-Jax slightly better than Odom in h2h and Odom slightly better than Jax in Roto. Both are between top-55/60 IMO.

If you don't care about FG% and TO, SJax is going to be a better scorer in 3ptM, FGM and higher PPG.
