Thanks for the input, 3si. Couple points.

1) I don't expect KG's production to drop this year as much as it did last year, either. If it did, he'd be no better than a fourth round pick. No, last year was the "big" drop, but I wouldn't be shocked if he missed more games and rebounded at a less impressive clip.

2) I'm not in love with TJ as a facilitator, but I do think he'll push the pace and create more possessions. And as far as Dunleavy maturing, he's 28 yrs old and entering his 8th season He dun matured, man.

KG is only 32. He's no more injury prone than Granger. Granger had a pretty bad injury when he was in college. With his stats being same as last year, I'd still pick him over Granger.

As for TJ, take it from a Raptors fan. I like him a lot, but he's not going to give Granger any more shot than Tinsley. As for Dunleavy, perhaps I shouldn't have used the word "maturing" but if you look at his log for the last month, you will know what I mean. Don't get me wrong, I like Granger as well, especially with Oneal gone, he has the "potential" to be a better fantasy player than KG, but I would never pick him over someone who is as reliable as KG.

KG: This is the NBA. There's no such thing as "only 32", particularly when you're talking about a player who's been in the league since he was 18. Now, would I call KG injury prone? No way. But I live in Minneapolis, have been following KG most of his career and can tell you he's been struggling with tendonitis since the 06-07 season, if not earlier. The C's will be looking to preserve him when they can. If they blow out teams the way they did last year, those opportunities won't be scarce.

Ford/IND: Again, I don't think Ford is a great facilitator, but he can run O'Brien's uptempo offense, which means more possessions and therefore more shots for Granger, the team's #1 option. Add to that Granger's natural development and I expect better output. As for his health? Come on, you can't invoke a college injury. He's missed 4, 0 and 2 games in each of his last 3 seasons.

Anyway, I don't expect to win hearts and minds with the Granger pick. It's definitely a gamble, and I haven't talked to anyone who wouldve done the same thing. But I also haven't heard a super compelling argument for another player.

I'd take tendonitis over a knee injury any day. More possessions, doesn't equate to more shots for Granger, it simply means more shot for the team. TJ takes a fair share, trust me.

It's hard to hear any "super compelling arguments" when you are covering your ears. You seem to have made up your mind, no point trying to convince you otherwise.

Now if you would rate my team (thread below), I would really apprecaite it, perhaps you will have a bigger crush on my team.

Are you honestly doubting Granger's FGA's will go up this season? It doesn't seem that you are, but I'm a bit confused.

And I've made up my mind in the sense that the draft is over and I can't reverse my decision, but I'm willing to entertain the possibility that I made a mistake. I just haven't heard good reasons for it, aside from the fact that the pick bucks conventional wisdom. "Garnett is in decline but not RAPID decline" just doesn't do it for me. Truth be told, the two players that I could easily regret not taking at the 8 spot are Caron Butler and D-Will. But Caron's injury history scared me off, and as I mentioned earlier, my strategy this year was to grab pg's late b/c there were a few value picks I had my eye on.

Anyway, hey, I really appreciate you taking the time to discuss my team man. This has been fun. I popped into your thread to share my thoughts on your squad.

Depends on how you look at it. I'm guessing it will be around the 15 or even slightly more FGA as last year, but it will not be the 20+ attempts he was throwing up towards the end of last year which made him an instant top 10 fantasy stud.
