Jason Thompson a good pick up?

Post#1 » by jdubb_00 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 12:39 pm

(H2H, 12 teams, 9 stand. cats)

Just wondering if the Kings are going to keep him in the starting line up where he continued to play minutes and get points and boards. I have Arthur right now but am swaying to pick up Thompson. Smart choice or just stick with Arthur and his reliable blocks and steals opposed to THompson's points and rebs with some good %'s. Also, Luc A and so on from the Bucks is still on the wire...he a possibility?

I also do need a pg and I noticed Aaron Brooks on the Rockets seems decent...will he get more burn?

THanks guys!

Thompson is a really good pk up.He wont be starting when KMart comes back but he should see some good min to produce more than Arthur AND it doesnt hurt that he will be a sf/pf/c soon enough

I disagree. I don't think Thompson will get too many minutes when Sac is fully healthy. I'd prefer Arthur.

Brooks is good for a backup. Rafer hasn't been consistent all year and Brooks has produced off the bench. Go ahead and pick him up.

I'm not too high an Arthur. Warrick gets the minutes at the end of games.

Thompson is in the same boat. But he's been more consistent so far.

Mbah a Moute is Skiles' favorite but he's unspectacular.

I'd say Thompson is not a bad pickup at all. Especially near the end of season where he'll be playing more minutes.
