My Harrington for his Rafer Alston and Shaq (QUICK HELP!)

(H2H, 12 teams, 9 stand cats)

I need boards and fg% big time. I know Alston doesn't shoot well but better than the chucker Harrington. What do you think? I also have B.Miller and Wilson Chandler for Harrington as well...

What deal should I take?

My team is:

Util D.J. Augustin (Cha - PG)
BN Trevor Ariza (LAL - SF)
BN Elton Brand (Phi - PF,C) INJ
BN Quentin Richardson (NY - SG,SF)

I wouldn't do it. You'd get better value for Harrington elsewhere. Look for a team that needs 3's and you should be able to do better.

same as above. you can get way more for Al Harrington. if you really need fg, try trading away guyz like Russell Westbrook, Rudy Gay.

thanks guys, but the guys in my league are sticklers! i think i need to do this trade as i am 1-7 this year in boards and shaq gives nice help! also, i dont lose 3's with rafer coming along! i would drop ariza at this point too!

also, harrington is now known in my league to see a decline with nate rob back! since he has been back...al's numbers have declined! i think i should do it!

OZ and Ish, thanks a whole bunch, i agree with what you are saying...but would I be getting ripped if i did actually do this!

You're not getting ripped but I really think you could do better. Harrington will thrive in NY regardless of who is injured or not. There are plenty of shots in their system to put up great fantasy numbers.

You said you needed FG% so yes Shaq is a good option but bringing in Alston kind of cancels it out. It's a pointless trade and won't help your team all that much. If FT% is a cat in your league then forget about winning that with Shaq in your team. You can do better than Shaq and Alston and if you can't I would just hold onto Al.

Oz. thanks again for the advice, but I did it! I am going on what will happen in the future and I couldn't pull off any deals! (I was GM'ing it hard over text!) I couldn't get anything else done and chose to do it! I got Shaq's great Christmas day game and I hope it doesn't stop from there!
