What do you all think of shawn marion?

Post#1 » by Revann22 » Tue Mar 10, 2009 11:36 pm

I have been out of the loop with the matrix ever since the trade.

I have just been offered him for spencer hawes....what do you all think?

does marion still have steam left in the tank.?

currently I am 1st place in my league so I only need moves that would put me over that hump..is this it?

I think he is ugly :)

I just dont trust him.He seems to be more injury prone than ever and with Toronto's playoff chances declining rapidly, I'd actually trust on Hawes more than Marion in the late part of the season

Well iverson's injury really kills your team's chances in assists since neither foye nor rose have a good apg for a pg.So this move might be beneficial for you .

my centers aint to great also...

I got rasheed, biedrens, Kmart is a decent rebounder when healthy, jeff green can rebound and all harrignton can also.

losing hawes will be losing blocks since he is 1 of 4 blockers on my team....

damn..tough choice...

Has there ever been a quicker and more rapid fall from Fantasy royalty to fantasy bottom feeder as the one the Matrix has gone through?

It wasn't that long ago he was a lock as a top 5 pick year after year. Now I wouldn't go near him in the 1st three rounds.

Calderon looks like he'll have a nice month of April, so good deal straight up for Hawes.

Marion is actually doing ok (Raps fan so I'm monitoring him) and I think he'll have a decent month of April. Safe to expect something like 13ppg, 7-9reb and some blks/asst here and there. Maybe you could get both?

AK47 had a similar fall as well.He was a top-20 pick 3 years ago now he is a top-70 pick.

BTW I'm just checking BBM rankings from 05/06 season. Some surprising names in the top 40:
AK47-15th
Mike James -25th
Wally World-40th

Wally and Mike James suck so badly in these days,it is hard to remember that they were very valuable fantasy players 3 years ago.
