so i'm in a very competitive 10 team roto league, i ended up with 7th pick and had a plan which i had to alter due to many surprises! Roster sets are a bit different than usual but based on roto...what do you guys think? (And its 3pt % not 3 PTM)
1. (7) Dirk Nowitzki PF
2. (14) Brandon Roy PG,SG
3. (27) Carmelo Anthony SF
4. (34) Derrick Rose PG
5. (47) Elton Brand PF,C
6. (54) Andris Biedrins C
7. (67) Hedo Turkoglu SG,SF
8. (74) John Salmons SG,SF
9. (87) Ron Artest SG,SF
10. (94) Allen Iverson PG,SG
11. (107) Greg Oden C
12. (114) Jamal Crawford PG,SG
13. (127) Raymond Felton PG,SG
14. (134) Nate Robinson PG,SG
15. (147) Udonis Haslem PF,C
16. (154) James Harden PG,SG
I think i had a solid draft and am pretty good in all cats, maybe bump up a bit on dimes...but I would love and appreciate thoughts!
Thanks

Pretty good on the percentages, pretty weak on 3pters, decent on boards, so-so on assists, OK on steals, weak on blocks, OK On turnovers. I think a lot of this stems from me not being high at all on Artest and very lukewarm on Rose (especially at that position).

I like you first 4 picks very very much, and you are still good all the way to the 8th round, good value picks IMO, I'm not too high on Brand, but where you got him it's a good chance to take. Artest and AI are two picks I don't like as much, not where you got them at least, AI could still bounce back, but I don't think Artest will produce as much.
Oden, if healthy, is a steal, should get around 12-15 PPG, 10-11 RPG and 1.5-2 BPG on good FG%. Crawford, Robinson and Felton are more or less the same kind of player, pretty good value for where you got them, but all give you about the same things more or less.
Haslem isn't that great, but that really depends on who you had to choose from, at that stage I would go for the upside picks like rookies (So obviously I like Harden in the last round) or guys who have a chance for a breakout year rather than someone who isn't great and won't be great. When you take a guy like Haslem, you are basically filling out a roster spot until you can find a mid-season sleeper.
Actually, unlike rpa, I think that if your team is healthy you will do OK on blocks, Brand, Biedrins and Oden are all good shot blockers as long as they stay on the court. Assists might be a concern, depends on how Rose does this season, if the Bulls want him more as a go-to-guy scorer or more as a pass first PG.

Thanks guys
and i agree, I think Assists need some work and blocks are not too shabby assuming my team plays. In terms of Haslem, i picked him just so that I have another big.
