Who is expendable? WHIR

Post#1 » by jorgo » Sun Nov 1, 2009 9:19 pm

12 team, KEEPER league, roto, standard 8 cats (no TOs)

5 players kept for next year.

PG: Jameer Nelson (k)
SG: Danny Granger (k)
G: Andre Miller
G: Leandro Barbosa
SF: Gerald Wallace (k)
PF: Shawn Marion
F: Michael Beasley
F: Al Harrington
C: Andrew Bynum (k)
C: Andray Blatche
UT: Mike Miller
UT: Jonny Flynn
Bench: Anthony Parker, Ronny Turiaf, Chuck Hayes, Yao Ming (k)

1. Obviously I'm last in assists, and will stay that way unless I make some changes. Who do you think can go, and who do you think I can get for them?

2. I'm actually thinking of moving Granger for Deron Williams + other upgrade. Yes? No?

3. Is it worth hanging on to Yao all year to be my 5th keeper? Basically will he be a top 60 pick next season?

Just looking at your roster I don't really like Chuck Hayes. He's a marginal talent with marginal fantasy basketball value. As for Yao Ming... I'm not too familiar with roto, but since this is a keeper league if you feel you can keep him on your roster without hurting your team that much then go for it.

If you want to cut your losses then before dropping Ming try shopping him around first maybe there will be someone willing to wait out an entire season for him.

I'm all for trading Granger for Deron + other upgrades... I doubt you could nab 2 assist-men from the same guy so maybe Deron + a 3pt shooter?
