Amare Stoudemire for Andrea Bargnani

Post#1 » by Spicy P » Thu Jan 21, 2010 6:12 am

Someone offered this to me. Is it a good trade? I'm the one receiving Stoudemire.

8-man Rotisserie league. I'm not really desperate for any moves since I'm currently sitting at 1st place, but just barely by 1 point(although the guy in 2nd has 60+ Games Played on me).

Amare's main strength is FG%, so I guess it depends on how deep you are there.

I remain wholly unimpressed by Matas and would be very upset not only if we trade up fo him, but if we even draft him at 11

I'm 2nd last in FG%. Thanks to Trevor Ariza and John Salmons. Here's my roster by the way:

PG Tyreke Evans, Sac PG, SG
SG Joe Johnson, Atl SG, SF
SF LeBron James, Cle SF
PF Pau Gasol, LAL PF, C
C Brook Lopez, NJ C
G Andre Iguodala, Phi SG, SF
F Andrea Bargnani, Tor PF, C
UTIL Corey Maggette, GS SF

Bench Chauncey Billups, Den PG
Bench Chris Kaman, LAC C
Bench Rodney Stuckey, Det PG

I'm pretty stacked right now thanks to a few trades and some free agent pick ups, but always looking to improve. The guy who's offering me Stoudemire is the guy who drafted Bargnani and dropped him last month, so I would be getting Stoudemire for free pretty much.

Bargnani always plays well starting in January, much better than in the first half of the year, as a Raptor fan who watches him every game, I can tell you that much.

Amare however is usually pretty consistent in his stats, and like someone said his fg% is very good most of the time . . . but honestly ur team is stacked and ur first, like they say, if it aint broke, dont fix it.
