Advice Needed (trade)

Post#1 » by jumpman » Thu Jan 21, 2010 3:37 pm

Hey guys, need your help again.

I've been offered JR Smith (incoming) for Dalembert (outgoing).

Here's my current team:

Total of 12 teams. I'm currently ranked 3rd. The setup is weekly match-ups.

Current roster:

Arenas
Bryant
Mayo
Corey Brewer
Odom
Al Harrington
T. Young
Battier
Dalembert
R. Jefferson
Ilgauskas
Bibby
Harden
D. Lee
Duncan

Strengths:

3PTM
PTS
RBS
AST
ST

Weaknesses:

FG%
FT%
3PT %
BLKS

I think I should go ahead since I've got plenty of rebounders. What do you guys think?

I think you're sacraficing a lot of Blks dealing Dally, and he's one of the top shot blockers in the league. JR Smith just doesn't really bring enough to warrant sacraficing that many Blks.

Don't do it.

I'm pretty sure there's a lot of options off waivers to cover those weaknesses. Notable would be George Hill (Parker out) should boost your 3PT and FT%. Or even Goran Dragic.

Affalo is outplaying JR right now, and Dally's been solid since A.I. has been back in Philly. Of course, a trade deadline deal can send Philly's roster out of whack. For right now, I'd stand pat with Dally.
