John Wall vs Stephen Jackson

Post#1 » by Volcano » Fri Oct 29, 2010 6:11 am

Assuming you have no players on your roster yet, which player has more value in a 10 cat H2H league that takes into account personal fouls?

I'm assuming Wall will have no three's and have slightly more PF's and TO's.

Jackson would be much lower in assists and maybe slightly lower in steals.

I like Wall in 8 cat, but 10 cat I might have to go with Jackson just because Wall will get you T.O being a rookie and playing PG.

Both are iffy from FG%, but I have Jackson winning that. Jackson wins FT% as well. Wall wins steals and assist.

That's 2-2 so far.

Jackson wins rebounds and 3's.

4-2

Points and blocks is probably tied.

4-2-2.

Then it comes down to PF, and T.O which I think wall will take (meaning he loses).

To me it's 6-2-2 Jackson.

In 8 cat I don't mind Wall because he will have those random games where he get you a little bit of everything, but in 10 cat with T.O and PF I rather just take Jackson.

I take Wall, mostly because 3's were so easy to get in the last rounds of the draft this year. I can live with a pg who doesn't hit 3's if he's giving me 8+ assists and decent scoring.
