I have been offered W.Chandler for K.Martin in one trade and also A. Blatche for K. Martin in another separate deal....Which deal should I take it!? Will Martin play a full season and I actually do need boards and blocks? Is he selling high or will Chandler post similar numbers for the rest of the year. Will Blatches numbers sink a little with Wall coming back and Arenas still being there. Whats your call. Based on my team, who should I take?
Thoughts?
My team is:
PG Daniel Gibson (Cle - PG,SG)
SG Kevin Martin (Hou - SG)
G Chris Paul (NO - PG)
SF LeBron James (Mia - SF)
PF Andrea Bargnani (Tor - PF,C)
F Jason Thompson (Sac - PF,C)
C Tyson Chandler (Dal - C)
C Shaquille O'Neal (Bos - C)
Util Manu Ginobili (SA - SG)
Util Richard Hamilton (Det - SG,SF)
BN J.R. Smith (Den - SG,SF)

I own Wilson Chandler and... I'm just not confident he can average 2 BPG all year long... I wouldn't trade for Wilson Chandler if you're looking for blocks.
Over his last 7 games he's averaged 0.9 blocks per game which is his career average.
When I trade for guys I like to think in terms of what their baseline value should be, so with Chandler I would expect for him to basically average what he did in 2008-2009.

14 ppg, 5 rpg, 1.3 3PTM, 1 spg, 1 bpg...
The blocks might approach 1.2 or so if Anthony Randolph, Azubuike, etc. don't make a move on his playing time as he does seem to have genuinely improved that part of his game but to reiterate what I said before...
Don't trade for Wilson Chandler if you're looking for blocks.

It's not just a trade for blocks, but they do help more than Martin! I need boards big time as Boozer comes back and I don't really need Martin's points! Also I am not losing that many 3's as Wilson hits a few. It's also nice to have a multi-stat guy in Chandler (the Marion-esque 1 three/1 steal/1 block). Looking at my team, should I take it is I guess what I am saying!
Thanks

I would take Blatche over Martin. He's producing while he's out of shape and getting back into a rythym with his foot surgery. He'll be a monster when fully healthy and in shape. While K-Mart is a big time injury risk.
