Bucks Ersan Ilyasova Stepping Up

Ersan Ilyasova (Mil - SF,PF) Ilyasova had 15 points, nine rebounds and four steals in Wednesday night's game against the Phoenix Suns. Over his last four games he has averaged 17.3 points on 61% shooting and 7.5 rebounds a game. During this four game span, Ilyasova has also averaged 1.0 3PTM and 2.5 steals a game. Currently he is owned in only 26% of all Yahoo Leagues.

Ilysova's recent increase in minutes can be attributed to the injuries that the Bucks have had to endure. John Salmons has been out with a hip injury for his last 8 games and Drew Gooden has been out for his last 6 games with plantar fasciitis. Kings guard Tyreke Evans, was plagued by a similar injury, a little over a month ago.

Ersan Ilyasova has been very efficient with the minutes he has been given. In the past month, he has scored double-figures in every game where he has played 30+ minutes. If you need a short term pickup for points, steals and rebounds Ilyasova may be your guy.
